Bootloader unlocked!

dumb question. i have my x rooted and clocked and running liberty 1.5, diggin it. it is quick and has ok battery life. what does this unlocking mean in lame man terms. if there are custom roms and kernals what does it do in the performance side? is it like having everything in one place? again stupid question, i know.

It means being able to modify the framework and have truly custom ROMs and kernels like on the D1. More options than what you have now basically.

I personally believe this to be a viable solution if it is repeatable, even if it isn't, it is just one step closer.

Can anyone point me toward where these keys are being generated? What program they are using? I have heard that it is NOT ADB. So any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to pull the keys to my X's and compare them.

he has done what they said couldnt be done...theoretically anyway.

No one has said the encryption was cracked, just that they have the key.

I guess we need to see if anyone has tried it.. I would give it a shot if someone gave me SOMETHING.. Im hoping it can be done through ADB.
