Bug Fixes and a Little More What Else Could You Ask For- Sapphire 0.6.2

Ok, something funny is goin on here. At first I thought I was imagining things, but now I've confirmed it. My battery was at 40% then I let it sleep for five minutes, give or take. When I woke it up, it was at 50%!!
Not that I'm complaining... Just odd..

my market isnt showing paid apps....would "bgill market fix" fix this situation? not sure considering the new build, etc....

my music is still black on black under the notification pull down. i followed all the codes for spare parts...any ideas?

Can you elaborate on what makes this a "Custom Sapphire" kernel? No info that I could see on P3Droid's site.

i honestly don't know what P3 has done with this kernel... his words to me about the kernel was that it will be very difficult for this kernel to be used on any other rom without a lot of work. i'm sure CVPCS and P3 will elaborate as soon as they have time.

Thanks sniffle. I poked around for about 30 seconds and it looks like a lot has been added to lib/modules in the kernel. Will do some research on them on my own when the kid goes to bed. Huge .zip compared to most kernels!

I was really surprised myself when I saw the size, but whatever they did, it really is a lot smoother than the older kernel was, and I just bumped it up to 1Ghz after about an hour at 800Mhz after forgetting I installed a new kernel, lol. It ran extremely smooth at 800Mhz alone.

im waiting to see if the iron man theme gets ported to this rom.

Its supposed to be ported by the first of next month... dancedroid

i thought that was a port to cm rom,not for this rom,it works on froyo roms already but doubtful on this rom

I'm not sure if it's the new kernel or what - but Tapatalk is now working perfectly for me. Go figure.

What I had to do was go into the market/downloads

You should see them all "downloading"

I canceled them and on that same screen you will see the "install" button. I then hit install. They will download and install.

I went through all the apps that way because they were stuck on "downloading"

It speeds up the process tremendously

What I did when the Market balked on me was to exit Market, go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All ... then clear data/force stop in "Download Manager" and then move down to "Market" and do clear cache, clear data and force stop (if highlighted). That has worked for me on ONE occasion (but not on another). In that second instance I reflashed the rom from within ClockworkMod Recovery, chose wipe data/cache ... and then my Market synced the second time around whereas it wouldn't the first time.

CW or SPRecovery?

Did you wipe data/cache before install? or....

did you install over previous version or another ROM?
