Bug Fixes and a Little More What Else Could You Ask For- Sapphire 0.6.2

thanks cvps. the music black on black is now my only issue. that being said GREAT ROM!!! very smooth. stable. for anyone reading its very much worth the installation. Flash is working better than ever btw

Got my market apps to sync! I had to format /system, /data, and /cache...

Now I just need to flash the new kernel and try to get the drop theme going!

you might want to wait for the P3 kernal. im kernal free for the first time in a long time and its been running great. :)

When I try to install the blue theme with font it says it installed but not theme is applied its all stock. I flashed the stock theme then installed the blue theme again and nothing. I wiped cache inbetween all installs.??

I posted this earlier but this thread moves fast: I couldn't get the Smoked Glass theme to install with Clockwork. I switched to SPRecovery and it installed fine. Might have been coincidence, but if you're having trouble installing a theme via clockwork try flashing SPRecovery back on and try it again.

Yeah Drop Theme isn't working for me either. I applied it via update.zip through clockwork and no avail. I've been searching for a fix but no luck. Anyone care to shed some light for us helpless noobs?

No problems installing smoked glass blue through Clockwork. I didn't rename it, just chose Install zip from sd card, browsed to the theme and selected it.

In ROM Manager, I had to flash alternate recovery, then re-flash Clockwork Recovery. After that I was able to install DropTheme without a problem. Even though I wiped cache and data, I still had to reboot the phone twice before it was stable enough to use. Now it is running smoother than I could ever hope for! Very happy, thanks for the hard work!

Somewhere on the Sapphire home page it states they only support SPRecovery. I really do not know the difference between the two, but I had issues with a ClockWork'd theme and once changes were made to make it SPRecovery compatible it worked fine.

I couldn't get luna to install properly with clockwork either, something about it is fubar! I cannot even flash an older recovery or flash SPrecovery with it. I d/l'd the lastest DMupdater and cannot even use it. I'd hate to have to flash back to stock 2.0.1 and re-root just to get recovery back. I think I will stick with SPrecovery. Clockwork makes things easy, when it works! But it is being a pain in the a@@!

There have been a lot of issues withclockwork recovery lately as koush is trying to update it to the latest froyo source. I personally use clockwork, thanks to the nifty doesn't have to be named update.zip and it can be located anywhere on the sdcard feature... but my advice to clockwork users, flash back to 1.8.x.x and wait on the 2.0.x.x series to become more stable. Rommanagers also become more unstable as well(for me)
