Hi John, a few things here.
Perhaps you are not familiar with the term "PM" but it means private message, as in a message on the forum. I do not have any messages from you in my inbox, however I did recieve your e-mail. As for your payment, well your e-mail was sent to me at 11:05 A.M..(in which you said you sent a payment) It is now 1:11 and I do not have any new payments in my paypal. Perhaps it is just taking awhile to go through if you actually did pay. Are you sure you sent it to the correct address if you did send a payment. Let me know in a PM what paypal address you sent it to.

Just a suggestion...
If you are so sure on this then why don't you take the initial hit of start-up costs and investments? Nobody is getting the shaft because it had already been stated what would happen if the OP could not get the inaugural 10 to buy. -AND-
They will get their money back should this project not come to fruition.
While I too agree that a finished product will further entice a buyer who is teetering on the edge to buy (or not) this is Chris's gig unless you'd like to take the loss should 10 people be found prior to the deadline that has been now extended,
make sense?

JohnnyDepth speaks wisely. I appreciate it. Flomaster until you attempted something like this and have consumers back out leaving you with inventory and expenses way over any generated revenue you may not be able to understand as well. Not trying to attack you, just speaking the facts. An example previous product that my producer made consisted of a 10 person group buy that he started before payments. The project had alot of fiberglass and carbon fiber work which again is extremely tedious. Point is, he sold 4 in the end because the others were only bluffing on purchase. Interest in a product is just curiousity, but until the money is in the hand, there is no true interest.

Ok John, got your PM now and the payment. It's ok those things happen all the time just a simple mistake. Glad it was something simple like that, I didn't want to go through the whole prove I didn't recieve a payment or any of that stuff. 
Anyways, if you look through the thread between pages 7-12 there are pictures so you can see the blue and black carbon fiber. Let me know which color you decide on as soon as possible.

I'm very interested.
I'm having a hard time imagining how a one piece case would fit around the contours of the chin area though.
I'm thinking the case could be molded to fit very closely to the original shape of the chin if the Droid could be inserted with the chin end sliding in first, under the "ledge" that comes over the chin, then the opposite end of the Droid (standby/power button) snaps down into the case. The case would look something like this (side, cutaway view):
Ease of removal would be an absolute necessity for me, as I would like to be able to use the oem car dock.

It will be an easy removal case. As for your idea, i'm not sure, we still have to look at the phone and get some measurements and all that fun stuff figured out.

Here is an update on some things.
For people concerned about the fitment of the case. The case will fit. If it does not fit we will send a replacement until it does fit, but refunds will not be given, we will just correct the issue. But we will take care of you until everything is right do not fret.
We are almost ready to launch we only need 3 more people.
