Case with No Slide Out Keyboard Feature

The refund/return thing I was talking about was because of how many scammers are out there. If there is really a problem do not stress because you will get your money back. The issue that concerns me is the people who will recieve their case, put it on, be astounded at how great it is, come on here and demand another one because it didn't fit but in reality just want another one.

The price we put into making this product for you guys is actually much higher than what we will recieve on the first end. Basically 10 people comes to $600. After this first batch if we send out the cases and they all end up being made improperly, we will be out that $600 that we return to the 10 people, as well as an X amount. It is a substantial amount that we would lose, we do not want to cause any problems.

This seems to indicate it's in your best interest to produce a case without any fitment issues and do appreciate you entering the case market with a real carbon fibre case.

Assuming that a run of 10 is paid for by your deadline, will there be another batch/group buy set up within a few weeks after that, in case I decide not to get in on the first batch?

Thank you for your question, after the first batch there will be more group buys. Another possibility is that if our website is up by then you can order them individually.

To clubdownforce our iphone case just shipped from CA so ill send you some pictures of that soon when I get mine and you can let me know if you are interested.

Hey Jose, I do not have a case yet in my hand. Our manufacturer just sent out the first case yesterday so I may be able to get pictures of that within a few business days. Once I get some pictures of that case and pictures up it will also help you all to notice the quality that the droid case will have because it will be through the same manufacturer and everything. I'll keep you all updated no doubts.

Hi arehkopf21, as for your question I myself have no clue what the car and desktop docks look like. If there is any special clips that are on other cases that mount them onto the docks then no they will not. If docking them is according to their size with a case on, then yes they will be able to fit because these cases do not turn your phone into a huge brick.

Put me down for never using the slide out keyboard. I want a heavy duty, thick, soft rubber case that goes around the four sides, covers the back and keeps the slider closed forever, like it should be.

It's not a deal breaker, I like the device too much but I wish they would have used the useless keyboard space for a bigger battery.

Well...I don't really like the slide out keyboard, although not to the degree as you:icon_ devil:


Still, I advise you to check out the Verizon Case and Car Dock combo!
This case feels like Seidio Online made it, and the package costs only $30...

It is solid yet smooth, and really protects the Droid while still keeping it slick.
The Car dock doesn't have a magnet, but easy modding it looks pretty easy.

Hi Lisa, for your question; I cannot really give you an exact measurement on the thickness, but you are thinking the right way. It is not a thick fat case by any means. Basically, if you have a glove or little pouch that you keep the phone in when traveling around and there is a little bit of room in there, you would be able to put the phone with the case in there. Do not hold that against me if it doesn't fit in there but just from the vision in my head compared to other cases i've seen its not going to turn your phone into a brick.

The case will be as thin as it can be, but don' expect NASA/MILITARY precision tolerances...read up on Carbon Fiber for more info.

I'm not speaking on anyone's behalf, but in case thickness in general...
While I'd want to make the case as thin as possible.....structural rigidity is a factor here, so wanting a case too thin, may impair its ability to withstand breakage, and I'm sure you wouldn't want that.

I doubt it will be a "Fat' case.
My cheapy Verizon case is pretty thin, but it does add a 1/16 or two...

If you guys really want a quality case to disable the slider, we all know how great Seidio cases are, so submit some feedback to them about how you'd like to see a case for this!
