Are there alternative kernels?? I'm running stock and it seems ok for now. Really miss the sysrw and sysro unless I'm not doing it correctly.

There are plenty. Two very popular series are made by P3Droid and ChevyNo1. Chevy has his own subforum here at DF so that's a good place to go looking. Make sure you're using his latest kernels.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded the gapps and now my gmail icon appears on my screen and under applications, however if I click on it the screen opens then closes. I go to dev tools and click google login service and it force closes. Suggestions? Should I try an older rom? As I mentioned this is my first time w/ this rom after using bb, lithium and other jrummy, and also liquid

Did you wipe before you installed the ROM? I'm heading off to bed because I'm about ready to fall asleep in the chair, but at the moment that's the first thing that comes to mind. You don't need to wipe before you install the app pack. Are you running stock kernel? It shouldn't be an issue since it was compiled specifically for this ROM but it might.

Glad to hear that you were donating. For a second, I thought you had been ripped off. You could always make a backup, try CM, donate if you like or restore if you don't.

I loaded up this rom because I like using FRG22D as oppose to using FRG01B. I really like Liquids 1.4. I didn't got to 1.5, because I like certain themes. However this rom here is hands down the best for FRG22D. There are a lot of options and it seems to be very well put together. I added Black Glass late last night and have be running it for 12hrs and so far it is amazing. I haven't run a Cynogen rom since RC1, but they have perfected this one. The only thing I'm watching is my battery life. I figure I have to give that a few days.
