i'm on the same boat as you lol. I just finished flashing to 5.0.6 then 5.0.6.1 came out. I haven't updated yet, i'll probably do it tomorrow.

As for the second question, i'll borrow what was said on mIRC (#koush)

i pressed the clear button in my notifications pulldown and it made the notification go away.

edit: it'll probably come back on reboot or at midnight tomorrow but you can just clear it out if you don't want to update right away

I agree with you. I barely get sleep because of all this flashing.

<sarcasm> Must hunt down whoever rooted the Droid and the devs who keep pushing out releases for me to play with. Dam them. </sarcasm> I get 1-3hours of sleep a night because i'm here messing with my Droid all night long!

as far as completely disabling ota from rm...i don't think that is possible but i could be wrong. besides, wouldn't that kind of defeat one of the neat features of the rm app.

Lately this has been me as well. I went to UD10 when it came out, which I was not impressed with considering how laggy it was. And now Cyanogen. Oh well, thank god for 5 hour energy shots!
