Why can't we use nitlies? I'd like the new stuff like 1% battery and such.

The nightlies are for d2 not d2g. Theres many differences between the 2 that make it so d2 wont work right on d2g and d2g wont work right on d2.

Anyone got a working SBF file for the Droid 2. I tried the Cynogenmod it worked for bit but no market even though I installed it. I tried reinstalling but never worked after that. Got the motorola M loop.
I tried to SBF my phone and now I get a an error not even a M loop. Good thing I tried all of this on a used D2 that is just for experimenting.

When you say you were testing..did you test the d2g cm on the droid2?

And sbfing did you use the correct file...

Easy mistake i almost made once.

So is everything from the first post in that thread working, aside from the camera? If one was to install this would that be the best one to download? I was reading the last pages of that thread and saw there were 2 other people working on versions of it with different things working etc. and I'm trying to find the best build. I really wanted gingerbread and CM, but the camera is pretty important to me and can't have it not working.

Also, this may be a dumb question but if I'm running on Liberty 1.5 right now, is there anything special to do before going to CM? Do I have to wipe the phone then boot up into recovery and install it and use the rommer tool, or can you just install it? And is wiping the phone completely neccesarry?

I After the rommer tool came out and I put liberty on I was so happy with it that I stopped really following it and now I'm all confused trying to figure out what to do with CM .

I had a similar problem (handcent and go still worked); none of the fixes seemed to help.
But with the latest bulid, as of tonight, all is well again for me

Delete the stock mms.apk in /system/apps and go SMS and handsent should be able to send them.

I tried to delete it but it said it could not delete the file.. I would flash again to Rev's latest but I mind as well wait until the camera and alt lock gets fixed..

What are u using to delete it. I use root explore. If u do not put it in R/W (read and write) u can't delete it. Most file apps will start u in R/O (read only).

Screebl working for anyone?

Hey there. First, I'd like to say THANK YOU for porting Cyanogenmod to the d2g. I've been running Fission for the last 6 months, and I've been itching for a refresh. Love it.

Anyhoo, I noticed that Screebl doesn't work with this release. For whatever reason, it appears that Screebl can't detect what the accelerometer is doing.

*btw - Screebl keeps the phone's screen from shutting off depending on the phone's angle. pretty cool software.
