Wonder if a gb kernel would make a difference then. I believe D2/DX are getting their respective gingerbread kernels, which may possibly help battery life.

No because 2nd-init doesnt work with gb kernels atm....

I think everything past the 8-12 nightly or so gets better battery life. 13th fixed one of the bigger problems with it for all 2nd init roms. I've noticed much much better battery life personally.

I loaded the 8-14 for my wife on her phone and she loves it and it works pretty doggone good,so far the battery is hanging,but I will know more today when she gets home from school

I am on 08/13 (since 08/14 gave me some troubles on GSM). Battery life seems maybe about 20% worse than stock, but I should say it isn't that bad. The lack of working bluetooth is killing me though..

Really? I've noticed worse battery life on 8-12 and 8-13 personally...

Anybody know when we'll have working bluetooth? This is killing me too, I use my BT earpiece all the time.

Also anyone else notice their email stops downloading after a few hours? A simple reboot fixes it and they flood in...I stay on 3g all the time, don't swap to wifi.

Well after finally deciding to wipe data I got wi-fi working on the 8-14 build. Hopefully it sticks and that my battery life issues will be at least mostly resolved...

Well I dont know if it will work for you like it did us,but we were having the same trouble with wifi on our CM7 for droid pro and I remembered when I first got my samsung wifi tab that it wouldnt connect and what I had done to fix a temporary repair,so I did this for my droid pro with cm too,so go to market -get wifi fixer -install-run it and see how it goes and it may take a few times for it to take hold,but it did work on ours,yall may be having same issue,and you may not,but try it and see

So I am having a problem with the newest nightly build. Whenever my phone goes to sleep. There is no way to wake it up without pulling the battery. I flashed it from a stock rom. Should I try an earlier build?

You said you are coming from stock, did you wipe data and cache after installing CM?

Yes. I SBF'D Earlier this week. And figurrd id come back to cm7. Yes I wiped cache as well at least 3 times
