Anyone know why none of my Gameloft games work on Cyanogen? Mostly Modern Combat 2. All my games say not original copy, even when I redownload from the website.

You got that right, that's gingerbread, version 2.3.4, that's what cyanogenmod 7 is, gingerbread.

So what kind of battery life are you guys getting on CM? I know the battery life is not too great, I'm getting about 12-14 hours on a single charge with light usage, used to be almost 3 days under the same conditions, its definitely usable for me though.

Battery life for me is okay. About the same. I got 13 hours out of a charge today, with light use. Nothing like it was on angelrom. But getting to run cm on my global is worth the few hour difference. My opinion.

Same here, definitely worth the difference, I just want the sensors to work. Also one of the bugs is that in this build, the phone reads as a droid 2 instead of a droid 2 global, can't that just be changed in the build.prop? Also I believe that the autorotate problem was on the droid 2 as well and they found a fix for it, I'm just wondering if that can be implemented in this build as well.

Thats a yes and no answer. Theres parts of it that that will fix however theres also parts that it wont. For instance, it reads sensors under sensors.droid2.so but not under sensors.droid2we.so because its essentially a d2 but with the better processor and different kernel. So yes, you can change the few lines in build.prop however that will only change the display and what the phone says it is and not any of the internal workings.
Hope that clarifies some.
