[ROM] CyanogenMod 9 [BETA] (DX) (8/19)

Can you run liberty 3 v2 as main to load the oc kernal module and this as a slot? I want a working blur cam for the concert setting, it works awesome. I like this as a daily though.
Unlike encounterics you can't do the blue led boot menu so i can't use your method.

Why can you not do the blue LED boot menu? Wizard's 2012.2.29 and up builds have a fully integrated recovery and boot menu. You can boot into recovery via the power button menu, ROM Manager or the blue LED.

MIUI 2012.3.6

Vexx did you get ever get it to install? Here's instructions if you haven't. Like i mentioned since your using droidx bootstrap uncheck usb debugging. Once in clockwork recovery wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache partition. Next select advanced and wipe davlik cache. Then select install zip from sd card then select choose zip from sd card and find where you put your cm9 zip, if you downloaded straight to your phone it will be in your download folder so select download and find your zip and select it and select install. As soon as its done go back to choose zip from sd card and find your gapps zip and install it. Once that's done installing just select reboot system.

I've never gotten the blue LED on angel's builds, only encounterICS. I actually get a shorter red LED blip that's barely noticeable. I have "recovery" and "boot menu" on the power button reboot menu but i always thought boot menu was just to sbf. i'll check it out

okay that one worked. there must have just been something wrong with the DL you provided >.>

I just downloaded the link that worked for you and the md5 matches exactly with the md5 from the first link i gave you so they are the same. You definitely got a bad download last night so your md5 shouldn't of matched so im not sure what happened.
Edit... I downloaded both just to make double sure and they are indeed the same.

Ok, I thought you were referring to something else. No, this doesn't have the bootmenu that MIUI and firstEncounter has.

yeah both recovery and bootloader options under the reboot menu take me to clockwork recovery which doesn't have the option to overclock. sucks!
so, if i do find a rom that's 2nd-init with overclocking abilities, will the fact that that rom loaded the "android overclock" module carry over to this rom so i can use that app to oc?

btw thanks for the help guys

It does for me. I am on MIUI as my phone ROM and have it @1.2GHz and undervolted with the SmartassV2 governor. When I boot into CM9 using Boot Manager, those settings are still there and Quickclock Advanced and Android Overclock both work for me.

awesome thanks! does miui have a working camera yet, or voice recognition? i haven't really kept up with it lately. i miss my blur "concert" video setting and being able to tune my guitar with my phone.

You can sbf, or you can manually format system and data before you flash it. Either way works.

MIUI is totally different from CM9 and stock, its actually kinda iphonish with the Launcher. Put an aftermarket launcher such as LauncherPro or ADW and its like Android.

Definitely try the Black Ice theme. Its very ICS.

So when you say manually format. Is that the standard data wipe and cache wipe process?
