DarkSlide V4 - .340 ROM - Style, Quadrant, Linpack Champ

I'm really liking this rom. I came over from several months on Rubix 1.9 and I'm hoping for better battery life. So far I love the transitions and themeing!

I also am a former Rubix user, though I left Rubix at 1.8.6, and I can say i've experienced better battery life with DarkSlide...in fact, i'm sure most would agree that DarkSlide is very good on battery life! also I noticed that DarkSlide is much smoother than Rubix.

Anyone else notice when initially installing that apps take FOREVER to restore from the market? This happened with tranquility too. Does not happen with apex or rubix.

Thx. I agree, this is way smoother than rubix. As for batt life, tomorrow will be a good test. I just got my phone back from my brother who jammed on Angry Birds for 1.5 hours straight and now I'm at 20%. I think I gave it to him at 40%. Given how smooth it runs,i won't go back even if the batt life was the same. Even Swype runs noticeably better.

Yea I unplugged mine a little after 10 this morning. I was testing it and forgot I couldn't restart. I was on it all day, texting, forums and yes Angry Birds. Plugged it in 12 hours later and it was still at 60%.

I went from rubix 1.9 with. 340 to Dslide 4.1 non blurred. I can say that I honestly like Dslide better, but the battery life isn't nearly as good as rubix 1.9.

How do I get the black Darkslide Facebook? I just installed the DarkSlide v4 ROM, but there's no Facebook.

No facebook app at all? Try this:
Go to settings> accounts> add account and see if you find Facebook...you should see 2...one to sync your contacts, etc and one for the FB app...
But, to my knowledge, FB has not been themed for DarkSlide....although, 929Droid may have a black themed FB app you can install...

Battery life is fantastic on this rom compared to my experience with rubix. Easily twice as much. I know some people were getting stellar batt life on Rubix, but I want one of them. Unplugged at 0645 and is 2220 and I just hit 60%. Lots of use today.
