I'm a new droid user, myself and wife both really liked this device when we saw it in the store and made the big jump to join the DROID family.. I look forward to learning & sharing when possible.:motdroidvert:
What did I get myself into. LOL.
I love the phone so far but am finding that I'm not as smart as I thought. I do have questions but will look around first.
Hi, my name is Sinnah, 30 years of age, and I'm a maintenance worker, and I live in the warm... sometimes too warm South West (AZ). I just came on here to get a few of my questions answered about the droid, and if this would be a wise idea or not... I'm planning on ditching my cable internet provider and using the droid to run the internet for me, either my pc or my xbox live to watch netflix on my flatscreen tv. Would this me a reasonable thing to do? Or would it end up just costing me a crap load of cash for possibly going over my limit of how much information can come in to the droid? If I could get these answered then I may or may not get a droid phone.
Hi, my name is Violet and I am new to modding my droid. I am trying to figure out how to go about installing themes and things, but not for the life of me can I figure it out. *sighs*
Well, I live in Washington State and I am going to school to be a Mortician. Yay me.
I'm new to the forums. I've been reading them for a while to help make my choice about what phone to upgrade to. I have been using a Palm Treo 700p for about 5 years, and just ordered the Incredible last week. Can't wait to get it, but supposedly it won't ship till around June 1.
I was glad to find a forum for Android. I got my Eris from Verizon a while back and just got upgraded to Android 2.1 recently. I'm looking to find answers to my questions and see if I can provide answers to others on things that I've learned while using Android. Thanks!
sturgl here. Proud new owner of an HTC Droid Incredible. It is... incredible - though certainly not without its foibles. My previous phone was a WinMo 6.1 phone - the Incredible runs circles around it in every way, sans two (music and voice dialing). I was holding out for Windows Phone 7 - but frankly Android has come so far so fast recently that I could no longer ignore it.
After reading about how much everyone loves the Incredible I had to go down and get my 1st smart phone. Because I waited now I have to wait for it to arrive in the next 2 weeks. Can't wait for it to be delivered. Hi to all and look forward to the forum.
