Newbie Here

Hello all! I was informed by this site through guys from work with droids. There's a good many of us that have one luv mine glad to be on board.

Loving the droid community. I'm a previous iPhone user and just needed to break free so I got one for me and my wife. The people here are much nicer than the iPhone forums I used to frequent...

Hey everyone

I am new to the Droid as of April and love it! I am looking to see how far I can push this phone...but have to remember that it is my phone and I need it to work! dancedroid

new to droid

I am a BB transfer after replacing the trackball so many times, I told Verizon I wanted to switch to the Moto Droid. I got it as a warranty swap so I didn't get all the stuff, just the phone and battery. I had to get the accessories from the web and am trying to catch up on the software and usb connections. I love it so far but can't seem to get it to recognize the phone in Windows 7. The phone charges with the usb but I can't get to the SD card. What do I need?

Thanks for the help.

Hello to all

I am an IT person with a oil company located in Iowa. I have switched to android phones because the thoughts of SJ ruling my phone and part of my life was just too unbearable to think of.

So I said "No thanks" to Apple and ATT and hello to freedom!

I have a Droid Incredible and I will root the first chance that I get after someone figures out how to do it. I am into Photography, Writing and Linux systems. I know Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, Scribus, Inkwell, Strata 3D, MS Office, Open Office and many other programs.

I am a former Army Sergeant and I have worked in the studio of a cable company, in program sales, oil and lubricants sales, and now technical support. I am willing to help anyone if I know the answer but I will refrain from comments if I do not.

Hi I am new to the forum, I have had my droid for a few months now everything has been going well until recently, the last few weeks. I have my outlook going to my phone, which was working fine, and now I can get my calendar alerts, but no emails, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Just popped in (a wee bit tipsy) and wanted to toss this out there: I love my droid, but I'll be damned if if I can figure out which way is up is in in the dark... amiright?? ..sorry. I'm done. :)

dancedroidHey everyone, just registered on the forums and wanted to drop in an introduce myself. My name is Ricky Knight, live just outside of New Orleans, LA. I just bought my Droid A855 last monday and after owning a motorola Razor for the last few years i can't believe the difference between then and now! lol...I still have alot to learn but so far this little gadget has been very fun to play with, hard to believe technology lets ya surf the internet right from the palm of your hands now. Wish it would have came with a detailed "How To" manual but i just seen on Verizon's website that there is a hard cover i can order so think i'll grab that because i have alot to learn with this phone but it is fun learning a little more on my own each day. Anyway, look forward to asking a bunch of questions until i can get past the newbie owner stage and get used to this wonderful phone! take care guy's!.......Ricky'dancedroid

hello

I just picked up an A855 from Costco for $50 after coupons and credits. This is my first smartphone so I've got alot to learn. I'm trying to figure out if I should buy a case and screen protector for the phone. Definitely going to get a bigger battery asap. This battery life on this is crap!
