About Me:

What should I say....I'm a tech "geek". To me the term geek is indearing. I always have to have the most updated "tech toys" and love the challenges they bring with modding.

Previous phones I have had:
Motorola Q: (was one of the best phones)
Blackberry Curve: Ok
Blackberry Storm: Hated it, couldn't increase memory
Motorola Droid: Best phone I have EVER had!

I was so psyched when I got the droid. After finding out you could root it of course I searched "Google" (no pun intended) and took care of business. I love challenges, so it was rooted within 24 hours of getting the phone because you are all so kind as to share your knowledge and simplify it. Most people are afraid of modding but me, I jump right in because there is always a way to fix it, again thanks to all of you.

What I would like to learn: I would like to learn SQL because I think it would be fun and challenging. I would also like to learn how to make themes for the Droid (yes, I already know there are instructional posts out there, but just haven't had time).

Final Comments: Only having the Droid a few days this is one of the most incredible phones. I was going to wait for the IPHONE for verizon, but how GLAD I am that I didn't! I look forward to all of the neat new features I can do with my phone and all of the things that I will learn.

(Now if only they would hurry up with the Sirius App, my life would be complete......LOL)

I have been a droid owner since it's release in November 6, 2009 and I have even visited this site on countless occasions and decided since I am now rooted (took me long enough lol) I should join my fellow "Droids" in the future of the phone and software!

Got my Droid at the end of April; it's my first smartphone, and I'm taking my time in learning the ins and outs. Loving the apps, but not to crazy about the short battery life.

I received the Incredible today and have no idea what I'm doing, but we'll figure it out...eventually.

My first chore will be to find a way to transfer all of my Outlook Contacts and Notes from my PC to the phone. Wish me luck!

hi guys I am new here as I have just switched from the maemo based Nokia n900 due to a general lack of support from nokia.
I found someone online looking to trade their mint condition droid/milestone and I couldn't be happier with the deal as this is by far the best phone I have ever owned or used.
I am pretty tech savvy as I am an I.T consultant by trade so I will probably root my phone at some point in the near future.
living in the U.K it's nice to have a phone that a lot of people don't even know exists.

Hello all, I am brand new here and trying to learn about my Droid Incredible before it get here. I have never had a smart phone and am hoping to learn widgets,apps, ect. before I look like an idiot with a phone smarter than me. Droid

Finally got a Droid. I was intrested when it first came out but I didn't make the plunge (nor could I afford it). Now that I have a summer job I've used my first paycheck to by a Motorola Droid (woulda got an incredible but I need a keyboard e.e) I'm already in love with the phone just hoping to learn a couple tips & tricks about the phone.
