Wow!! Hello!!!

I just got my new Motorola Droid from Verizon in the last few days. My previous cell was a Palm Centro which I liked but during the 2 years that I had it I had to replace it about 4 times. Before that I had a Motorola Razor which I found OK but limiting. I won't list all my cells because I don't want to bore you.

To late!!!!

I love my Droid! I have all ready went to the App Market and have tricked out my Droid even more. Here to learn more about my new BEST Friend. I am crazy for the Goggle synching capability. It made copying my contacts from my Palm a breeze. I feel like I have been in the cell phone dark ages before now. I love iphone but refuse to accept AT&T limiting system. Droid is where its at for me. dancedroid

Newbie

I got my Droid back in April, I love it. This is my first smartphone. My previous phone was the Samsung Hue. It is pretty sad when your phone is smarter than you are. I am still learning how to use it. If anyone has any good suggestions for apps for games or to help organize my phone let me know.

New Droid owner as of Father's Day. Not sure what to think... Been using a BlackBerry Storm and loved it but felt it was limiting on the apps, business apps were available but not a lot of "fun" apps for personal use. Also picked up a Droid for my daughter. She wanted a Droid, but not the Motorola...

Would love help in understanding and using the Droid... Helpful apps and other tricks to help make the transition easier

Yeah Droid does

Work in IT and have been a phone flasher since my moto Rokr E1 days (I miss that phone by the way). I was a big fan of my ATT blackjack and Epix (crappy phone but great forum base and people). Droid has not let me down yet. It does everything and seriously seems to be a blackhole in terms of finding where droid stops. I use this phone more than my pc. I am rooted and running 2.2 Succulent Desire Froya Beta v2, Baseband c_01.43.01p, Kernel 2.6.32.9-P3Droids. My phone is a rock star not much more to say.

Hello my name is BOB. Its short and simple, but gets the job done. i have only had my Droid for about a week now. Love it. Just a few adjustments to be made. But LOVE IT. I only have one thing I can't do on it, so I need some help in finding an app. I get emails from my company and they come with an attachement file on them that is a .txt file. On my computer it opens in Notepad with microsoft. What app can I down load to open this file so I can see the attachment. But if I didn't already tell you LOVE MY DROID.

Hi from Rob

I'm an IT Specialist and go by Rob and I plan to finally get my first smart phone, which will be the Droid X. Since I am about to start a fed job around mid July, in a secure area. At some point I will be posting to get suggestions on how to remove the camera. Hopefully the camera is in a socket, so I will be able to replace it, for when I go on vacation, etc..

Droid

I'm JS_402 and my husband and I both upgraded our ENV3's to the Droid. So far, we love it! I signed up with this forum in an effort to learn about everything that can be done with this device. It is quite remarkable!

I am heading Cellictica and found this great forum couple of hours ago while Googleing our own products.

I am looking forward for great discussions and learnings on Android and especially on apps.

Hello!

I am a sales rep for a large travel company in Florida. Love my Droid, had it since the day it was released, and love tweaking it to find the other fun things it is capable of.

Hey, hey, hey!
Current Active Duty Army, train Soldiers getting ready for deployment to either Iraq, Afghanistan or Kosovo, yeah, we still have troops in Kosovo. Live in the sweltering city of Savannah, GA and commute to Fort Stewart.
Getting prepped to buy either a eris or droid or possibly a incredible tomorrow from Verizon. So I'm not a real owner yet, still using a envy. Going to need some help in deciding, need to know if any of ya'll have an AKO email acct. and can you access it with these phones. Any information would be great.

Thanks,
John

Your not going to be able to link AKO with your phone, for OPSEC reasons. Welcome to the forum, don't waste your money on the Eris, either get the Droid, DI, or wait for the X.

oh and Hooah:icon_ banana:
