Hello,
I currently have a Motorola Droid that is rooted and running Kangerade 1.1. I won't be able to get a new phone til next year, so I hope that something awesome will be out by the time I can get a new phone. Though it seems every time I get a new phone, a month later something way better comes out.
I got my wife an Incredible and we're still waiting for it to come in the mail. I'm not sure if I'm going to root it or not. We'll see how it goes.

New to Droid & Group

Good evening all - Just made the switch to Moto Droid this week from a 4 yr blackberry that took a beating and well had its self a little stroke and just didn't make it. Since they were by one get one free I MADE my husband ditch his flip phone (yes that was him, the guy in the grocery with the flip phone held together w/ duct tape)

Wasn't sure I would like it - but it turns out I love it!. dancedroid
Just posted my ipod touch and gps on ebay, this aftenoon.

Just want to learn all the cool stuff they don't tell you about at verizon when they are talking you into cases, chargers and stuff.

Hi All, I am new to this forum.. I am at the tail end of my AT&T contract and have had my Blackberry Curve for almost 4 years.. I switched to the Samsung Impression for a little while, but changed back when the Impression didnt quite live up.. I have seen plenty of ads for the Droid and I am very excited to see what it has to offer.. Looks AMAZING. I am also giddy to have Verizon coverage and actually get all of my calls, texts, and emails all the time, not just when AT&T coverage allows... which is quite spotty on my drive to and from work and out in the venu..

25, live in so-cal, got my first cell at the age of 10 in 5th grade, then didnt have another one till 11th grade, nokia or something, went from that one to the LG vx7000, to the vx8300, lg dare, blackberry storm, and now finally my moto droid, and will be upgrading to the droid X when it comes out. I am a helicopter pilot and when im not flying or playing on the computer, im working on my '02 rsx.

oh yeah, umm...got my droid back in the end of may of this year, rooted it within the first week and havent looked back since, cant wait for the droid X!

I have a smoked glass theme with a new launcher so. Im runnin ChevyNo1's Simply Stunning v4.3 rom with a 1.2ghz kernel. I have a buddy who has a droid incredible and my phone smoked his in speed. My name is Lorelei, and I've never owned a smart phone before. I almost got an iPhone, but I decided against it at the last minute because Droids can do more and have more.

I pre-ordered my Droid X at Best Buy. I'm #3 on the list, so I should definitely have one at launch. I was told that they may even call me to get my phone on the 14th.

I am a welfare caseworker. On the side I dj for community radio (it's on the internet - you can listen to me but I don't know if I'm allowed to post the link) and I'm also acting in a zombie movie that should be distributed internationally (again, I don't know if I'm allowed to post the link).

I really don't know what else to say. I can write more once I have my phone. I'm stressed, though, because I can't find Droid X cases in green and I wanted to have one ready for when I pick up my phone. dancedroid
