I made an initial thread about switching to Verizon from AT&T. My Droid is amazing. The longer I have it the more I like it! I also have a MIFI 2200 and had to call tech support and they were GREAT! The MIFI is also a great product. I'm so happy I switched to Verizon!
I do not even know if I am posting this in the correct place, but here it is anyway. I am a new smart phone user. After playing for a couple of days, I feel pretty comfortable. I have watched several utube videos.
I do find I have a problem. We have two phones, both new. Mine is fine. My husbands will not text. The screens at the top are different. Mine shows 3G His shows arcs like tower signals. Mine will text his will not. I have checked airplane mode and that is not the problem. Any help?
My name is Chandra and my husband and I switched from Sprint to Verizon and to the Motorola Droid about a month ago. We both love the phone. I stumbled across this forum and am very glad that I did. It has been very helpful in learning about my phone and what I can do with it.
The Droid X I purchased for the wife and I is the first smart-phone for the both of us. It seems to be quite useful for many reasons. I figured since the tech is there, might as well use it.
Switching from my old LG Dare to a Droid X. Just waiting for the long shipping times... can't wait to be a part of the best smartphone community out there! dancedroid
consider this my intro post. I love technology, but don't follow it too close. I guess you'd call me a user. I love the X! Best phone I've had, and I have has a few. Jump shipped from the BB, which I loved, but because I just did not know... My wife got the Incredible and I was convinced! Hoping to learn enough to keep it fun, fast and reliable. But what is up with the camera?

Hello all. I'm a long time BlackBerry user and have been providing assistance on CrackBerry.com for the past few years. I just recieved my Droid 2 today and look forward to seeing all of you on the forums...
Hello everyone! My Droid is my first smart phone. I really wanted to switch to AT&T so that I could get an iPhone but really didn't want to leave Verizon. I looked at the Droid and the Droid Eris back in March sometime and got a Droid in April. I stumbled upon this forum after finding that there is an extended battery for the Droid 2 and that the Droid 2 uses the same battery as the Droid 1. I have been on Andriod Forums and force installed Froyo about two weeks ago. I've found different info here and there so I'm extremely glad to be a part of this forum as well. I work with computers on a daily basis at my job and I guess my phone has become a fun entertaining way to expand on my computer interest. Hope I can help people with questions and problems they may have, but I'm sure I'll get more help on here than I can give. Later.
Hey, it's me, Will. I'm sure there are tons of people like me out there that are new to the droid family and have picked up the new droid 2 to start off with. I guess the best thing about strarting out with the dorid 2 is, I don't know how good or bad it is comparied to the X or inc. Anyway, couple things I would like to ask Droid 2 owners. Is this phone supposed to come with user guide and a some kind of software disk? All I got is a fold out quick guide that didn't really say much. Second, where do I go to find all the really great apps for my Droid?
Hey All! After 10/12 years on "Palm" I'm making the jump - Verizon Motorola Droid ...which just Froyo'ed without me even knowing THAT was coming.
Database? I love the app "Market" -- but, has anyone found a GOOD database program? ...the kind of thing you can set up keep an inventory of your various "collections" (eg. cd's, hubcaps, silver dollars, etc.)
Outliner? I'd like to have a simple "text editor" that's set up to arrange "notes" hierarchically in outline fashion -- "sub notes" being indented from the left margin.
Quick story: my wife's never been much a fan of my "PDA mania" -- but last week we had to head out on a 36 hour road trip and she forgot her "sound machine" -- she listens to the sound of lapping waves instead of my snoring. Well, I did a search on the App Market and in 2 minutes she was on her way to dreamland listening to a waterfall on my Droid.
