my introduction

I am new to the Droid family, but I love smartphones. I have had one for several years now. I am a former BlackBerry owner. dancedroid I love my Droid X so far. It has only been a couple of weeks, but I am not complaining. I have had BB's and I had an iphone 3g. This is a very great phone. I think that in many ways it is better than the iphone. If Verizon isn't making a deal with Apple we won't really lose out on too much.

:welcome:to the forum. We have sections dedicated to the X, you should check it out. To get there, click on the Forum tab at the top of the page then scroll down until you see the Droid X section. Enjoy!

New to the site as well. Picked up a droid 2 three weeks ago, replacing a terrible Blackberry Storm. I had an idea of just how dated the BB software was, but I really had no idea, if that makes sense. I have really enjoyed the droid since I got it, just starting to dig a little deeper into it, so far the forums have been a great resource, thanks all.

Hi all - I signed up. This is good stuff for folks looking to get the most out of their phone. I'm not quite a newb, but this is my first droid so I'm learning the ropes. Not at all new to Unix so I'm already comfortable dealing with the filesystem. Thing is, the phone runs so well stock that I haven't found a legitimate need to root yet. I'm sure that day will come though...

Hello All....

Just started to get really into my X and looking to find out as much as I can....mainly use Launcherpro to "theme" it up...one thing that im curious about is asking around for a custom dock creator or some one who is able to create one...... Any takers? might sound funny but the dock i would love to have is the "worlds heavyweight championship belt" like Ric Flair had in the late 80's and EARLY 90'S...I believe it is still in use now with the WWF...but who knows...i can track down pics for it....Please and Thanks

Well...I'm not really sure what to say since most of you whoever read this are all associated by technical and electronical needs, but I'm 23, I think i would make a great model/actress/comedienne someday, I just got a new droid 2 phone and im still trying to figure out how to use it...uh...I'm married, I live in Texas (no i do not wear cowboy boots and say "yeehaw" and ride a horse everywhere i go for those of you who stereotype) I am a nanny, and a part time promo girl for auto companies during state-wide events (nascar, cabela's, sports games, state fair, mall raffles, etc...) I'm a very random person and I tend to really love helping people as much as i can...

I come in peace. I come from the land of iPhone, sector G3. Seriously, I got my Samsung Captivate on 10/8 and I'm loving it!! I will admit I got a lemon but just had it exchanged and the new one rocks!! I'm here to find out about my new lifeline so I don't waste any of the technologies at my fingertips.

Hello all, got my droid 2 about a month ago and love it switched from apple iphone 4. my contract short and verizon catched the fees ect.
I rooted my droid 2 the123 step.
