Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and just want to introduce myself. I've been hooked on Android since the first Motorola Droid came out and now I am using the Droid X2.

I also develop apps, for about a year now. I do it professionally and for fun. I am also the lead developer on the RoboBrain SDK, a new game development SDK for Android.

Please let me know if you have any dev questions, I'd be glad to help.

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums. My name is Chad, I am from Sioux Falls, SD. I am married with 2 kids, I work with mentally and physically handicapped people full time. As for my part time job, I work with troubled adults, basically adults that have been in and out of the prison system and other residential treatment programs. Both jobs are interesting, diverse and something new to deal with everyday. With work and trying to keep up with my kids, we keep busy. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, watching sports, going out with family and friends, playing video games and watching tv and movies. Oh, and also playing with, talking and researching new high tech toys, such as cell phones as an example.

We are with verizon and have 3 lines. I am the only line with a smartphone and I have the original Motorola Droid. I am due for an upgrade, so it's been fun researching what has come out, what is coming out soon, and rumors of future smartphones. My wife is due for an upgrade next summer and she will be getting a smartphone then, she is leaning more towards Iphone and is hoping the Iphone 5 will be out around that time. I have been sitting on my upgrade for a little while now and am interested in possibly the Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr or the HTC Vigor or might even wait on the rumored quad core jet and bullet. Not totally decided yet. Well that should be all for now.

Sounds like you are stuck between the main phone that so many of us are. Just make sure to dig around the site as there is a ton of info on all of them. Hopefully you can find what you need to help you make a well informed decision. Looking forward to seeing you around here for sure!!

Hey guys when I signed up I didn't formally introduce myself so here goes nothing xP. The DROID 2 is my first smart phone and I hope the dev community doesnt leave cause you guys are awesome I'm 15 and am addicted to Android and music. I have a studio in my basement where I make tracks just for fun. Its great to be a part of the forums!

Ahh really whatever I'm into at the time haha. Now I'm making a little dubstep and rock. But hey I gotta whip out the saxophone from time to time and play some smooth jazz

I am the same way. Only I can listen to whatever I am in the mood for. No musical talent for me at all lol.

Welcome....My passion is music and have been playing many instruments and writing music for 27 years...Im a D2 user among many other devices. This is my fav though..My username says it all! Except Father of two! Lol

Hello and of course - HELP?????

Hello All,

This is the one and only "original - "RnR" - that is Rock-N-Roll baby!! ....had this tag for close to 20 years now for internet and everything where I dont want anyone to know my name Sorry but internet isnt a place for real names...I love my music hence the name!! I am a fun loving and outgoing, just plain friendly person, until I run into a piece of equipment/hardware that just gives out for no apparent reason!!

Which has led me here via a google search- gotta love Dr.Google...he can find a fix, "usually" for just about anything, or tell ya where to go to find it.

Anyways I have several smart phones- 2 Droids one that is an older HTC Droid Eris and a brand new Motorola Droid 3 ..because the Eris decided it didnt like a Verizon *228 update one day and now "refuses" to boot!! I have searched this forum quite a bit and have found several people listing the same problem I have yet to find a fix. Anyone that likes a challenge, please see this post and please see if you can help me and this other person that started this thread.
