Hey maybe someone could shed some light on an issue I'm having. I tried a .247 update from .905 and got hung up when I tried to verify the md5. This is the message I got:
1346 kb/s <20199 bytes in 0.014s>
8 kb/s <53 bytes in 0.005s>
rm: remove '/data/local/tmp/sa-md5sum'?
At this point the keyboard was not responsive and eventually it failed the install. When I check the SD card I do see the 247.md5 file but I didnt see the 247 update file when I ran through a second time and skipped the update to SD card and md5 check. I got to the recovery menu but no update to select on the SD card. I'm obviously new to this but I appreciate any help I can get. Going to bed so I will start fresh tomorrow, thanks!
At the moment you can't boot. You need to get the update on the sdcard. Since the phone won't boot until the update is installed in recovery you'll need to do it outside the phone.

Ok, I'm trying that but everything I try to transfer to the SD card is going slow as hell and keeps hanging up, is that normal? I'm pretty green so I'm assuming I'm copying the Blur_Version.5.9.905.XT875.Verizon.en.US(67247) zip file as well as the 247.md5 and the boot and recovery image files? Also once these are transfered, can I just use recovery or does it need to go through hob still? I appreciate your patience since I'm about to start throwing stuff My stuff never goes smoothly..........
You only need to copy the Blur_Version zip fie to the sdcard. The other files are for the HouseOfBionic script. In fact, since your process didn't complete before, you should manually delete the 247.md5 file as that normally gets cleaned up at the end of the process. Sounds like you have some PC issues going on that are outside of the scope of what I can support. It can take a while to transfer the file, but, it generally doesn't lock up the PC in doing so. I've done it from a Linux VM and haven't had issues like that, so, something is definitely not quite right with your PC.
I have a quick question. I installed 232 with HoB yesterday. When I reboot the phone, it comes up in the AP FastbootFlash Mode (S) (FLash Failure) screen. I press volume up and down and power it up and select Normal Powerup and it boots fine. How do I fix this?
Update: I put the zip file on the sd card using my laptop but the same error again. So I tried the whole install process again, this time on the laptop and it seemed to be going well. It opened up RSD this time and went to the fastboot process. It got about 1/4 through the the install process after verifying and beginning the process, then stopped.
Now the phone wont boot at all, it shows the M and dual core screen, then it goes to all black screen with soft buttons lit and stays that way. Advice please!
I go to Recovery, select install from SD card and it starts the process, I'm only getting what I posted above. I'm trying to do this with .232 at the moment. I'll let you know how that goes.
