Anybody know of a case that might work with this? I have to have my droid covered. Its been in a case since day 1 back in november. Not a scratch or blemish on it.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm considering buying this D2 extended battery as well.
If I do buy it, I'm going to see if there's enough room for the new battery with extended cover if I cut away a relief into the inner silicone lining of my Otterbox Commuter case.
I use a hard case for a Blackberry that rides on my belt. I'm hard on phones in soft cases, breaking displays and such, this hard case works well. Shouldn't have a problem with the extended battery at all.Anybody know of a case that might work with this? I have to have my droid covered. Its been in a case since day 1 back in november. Stock battery is killing me by the way. I was just streaming flash video while the phone was plugged in to my computer (charging?) and my battery level was actually going down. I was like WTF!??! I don't know how it can loose power while plugged in!
I just finished sifting through the thread- is there a consensus on if a cover will work with the extended battery? (Otter Box/Innocase)
Thanks for your work, fellas!

I don't have the Otterbox case, but with the cover on the battery the Innocase cover will not fit.

I can't be certain that the Otterbox case is compatible with the extended battery on the D1, but I did put about 4mm of sticky notes on the back of my original battery and was able to put my Otterbox case back on. It looked funny since it bowed out, but it was secure.
So, I went ahead and ordered the extended battery ($27.55 shipped ). I have high hopes the Otterbox will fit. If no one else follows up I will when I get my battery.
