Sounds like he is one of those good ol' Americans that support crap made by their country no matter what. I live in the south and I know what it's like to deal with these people. I can guarantee you he's never touched an Incredible. It would probably give him cooties.

this is the part where a lot of droid owners shake their heads at the sight of a moto fanboy gone wrong. the equivalent of an iphone owner who swears he really does have the phone jesus would use...even if he doesn't believe in jesus. lol

for the record, I'm 23, I go by facts, the facts are, of all the problems I've seen bringing android down as a whole, somehow, they all have something to do with the quality of HTC phones, they just seem to be weaker than the droid, higher clock speed, unless you root and overclock the moto. Motorola uses better parts and higher quality materials. I've dropped my phone plenty of times and it's not damaged. I've seen a ton of reviews / complaints about HTC, sorry you got an HTC phone and bought into their BS, they make crap phones with an even worse UI that takes twice as long to update to the newest version of android, call me 17, call me stupid, call me a fanboy, either way, I'm running 2.2 because the droid has a great modding community and noone cares about the incredible. so sorry.

Regardless, the moto droid is the most modded, most popular, and still beats the best of em thus far.

If that's what you need to tell yourself... both are great phones but as a user of both- inc > droid
And as far as most modded, I think there is a community of g1 users that would beg to differ where do you think most of those great hacks started...

I wouldn't doubt the G1 is the most modded / hacked / whatever because it is ancient (at least in terms of phones). but the droid outpowers the inc, because it has a better processor, you can deny that until the cows come home, but the OMAP is more powerful than the snapdragon.
well actual side by side there is no comparison
inc > rooted overclocked droid
inc - opens apps faster, scrolls smoother (no comparison), renders maps faster, exc. you get the point though. the droid does seem to have the edge for playing a couple of games but i suspect that is more a software issue as opposed to a hardware one.
