Droid Incredible will have 8GB of Internal Memory

i really hope this doesnt squash the droid because my ego just cant taking having a number 2 phone

Squash the Droid? They're both running the same operating system, the success of one Android phone benefits every other android phone as well.

This looks like a small upgrade from the Droid, nothing major though. In another couple months there will be something even better than this phone available too. A smart-phone is a mini-PC, in the PC industry there's always something newer and better out in a few months.

I don't understand why anyone would "jump ship" though, that's just wasting money. I'll get a new phone when my 2 years are up.

looks pretty sweet, i have an upgrade.. i might get one... any idea on the nexus release..

i love my droid, however, i NEVER use the keysboard.. kinda want a thinner sleeker phone.. the droid is awesome tho..

Someone had posted that probably shortly after it came out whatever goodies it had would show up as apps or within roms for the droid. Maybe not if they are 4gb apps

I won't be switching phones but this does bode well as far as what kind of options will be available for me in a year and a half!

Moto Droid rocks and is probably as much as I want in a phone.

What really perks my intrest is a second, larger android device like the Dell mini 5. Wifi tether/mifi is all I need for that.

... but then I might want something smaller for my pocket if I've got a bag device, too.

Anyway, in 2 years voip/mifi will be all we need so I can't see signing new contracts every 6 months because some new crack hits the street when there will be plenty of badass wifi tablets.

By the time Android 3 comes out, it will be a totaly new game.

i still say there is no 8gb internal it will b a pre installed 8gb memory card. dont u reacall the same happened with droid every one thought the droid had 16gb built in but it was only a memory card.
