DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out?

I have tried several times to port over the zipped file onto SD card and apply update, getting "signature verification failed" yet file is fully on SD card, really upsetting me I'm having such difficulty to get it to work.

I found that when I downloaded it, it wasnt saving to the root of my sd card even though I chose that location. So i used the my files program to transfer the file from the internal download section to the root of the sd card. rebooted the phone and proceeded to install and now all is well.

well, still have multiple pictures as others have reported but so far so good

Edit: I found that if I hold down the file folder of the duplicate pictures I can delete the second folder without it deleting the main file. However I did try deleting the first file and it would delete both folders. So if your going to get rid of the duplicate picture folders make sure you delete the second one and not the first.

I heard in another post that a person was getting this failure cuz the following were NOT checked when going to .215: usb debugging mode and unknown sources under security. Make sure both are checked. Not sure if this is the case here..I haven't tried this new JB..waiting till the official one is pushed out..hearing this one was a mistake...Good Luck!

it was a mistake. its not quite the final build yet, but so far its running smoothly. motorola also says that if anyone took the update and is having problems with it, they should call motorola support as soon as they can. if its running smoothly, "Enjoy your gift from Motorola."

I was on .211 rooted with some bloat frozen/removed. I ended up having to fastboot restore .211 to get the update to work (regular factory reset wasn't enough). But I used OTA rootkeeper to restore root after updating and all is good right now.

Made sure this time to have allow unknown sources to install had USB debugging enabled. Redownloaded from mirror Foxcat posted. Now running JB. Thanks man.

what do I need to do to get this update rolling on my Maxx? I have held off on rooting until now, but I'm just sorta over ICS since I've been living on JB on my Nexus7

There have been talks of this being an "accidental" ota leak. I can't confirm or deny that but letting people know that may be why you can't update to it anymore. It's been pulled off the ota server. Also, there is no going back to ICS after updating. A few people have claimed they have done it but the guy who wrote the utility they day they used says it isn't possible right now. I'm going to put my trust in the guy who wrote the utility, mattlgroff for those of you who don't know him although most RAZR users should.
