DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out?

There's nothing on my end so far. It will suck if they did pull the OTA, but it wasn't suppose to be out for a few more months.

They have pulled the OTA. It was never supposed to be released in the first place. No one will be able to pull it right now.

Are you on stock .211? I heard you had to be stock and this error maybe due to being on a custom ROM or due to apps uninstalled/frozen.

Yeah, totally forgot about the .214 leak, heh... it had been several months!

Returned to .211 and updated. Didn't even wipe data. Looks like a winner.

whats the difference between System Update/version and Android Update/version?

Also what did this system update add?

I had the update notice and it paused itself then disappeared and told me I was up to date. I sideloaded it through recovery after pulling it off xda forum.

It's smoother and faster.
Apps seem to crash less.
Chrome is built in.
Default actions prompting and resetting are different
Google Now

It required a few reboots for things to work altogether for me. Each reboot said updating system apps. So far no regrets. Oh for those wondering yes, webtop is still there, still 3.0.0 no change.

Got you covered Foxkat..I re-advertised your class right above your post..lol.

Just paying it forward sir..just paying it forward..lol

So I downloaded the zip file, do I need to be rooted to install this?

No. You simply download it to your SD card and make sure to have USB debugging and allow unknown sources to install software onto your device. I had update failure a couple times because I didn't have allow unknown sources checked off. Download to SD card and go into recovery clear cache twice at least then apply update from external storage. Mine works flawlessly with 4.1.2 and I actually have better scrolling across screens. Battery life is the same, possibly slightly better, remains to be seen.

Thanks everyone! I got it installed yesterday and it's wonderful. I don't care that there are 2 folders of "camera" photos under the gallery. It's really smooth and snappy, makes my phone feel all new and tingly!
