Droid X August 25th?

Good luck to all those who have been awaiting the 18th arrival date.

My biggest issue with the DX is the low volume for the ringer.
I guess someone at Moto forgot that it was a phone that does
so many other things and not the other way around.

When the phone syncs to ur PC, it syncs EVERYTHING from your
PC. Google searches, all pics and videos on your PC even if ur camera is USB'd to PC
(even those not on your PC i think) so you have to be careful if you
have things on PC when people want to look through your phone (which
is inevitable).

Overall I received DX last week and still can't get enough. Also,
I know this has been said before, but be careful of the access that
market apps are asking for. Why a wallpaper app needs access to
my phone contacts is beyond me.

just ordered mine this morning from the Verizon store. the wait begins. i plan on giving my wife my rooted droid as a fair exchange. lol

My X was ordered on the 11th of August and I just dialed *611 and spoke to customer service and they are still showing my order slated to ship on August 26th. Not sure, but I guess that means I am not getting it any earlier.

I am patiently waiting on my fiance to wake up (he's working night shift for awhile) to tell me if we have received any kind of email or to call and see if they have shipped yet..or if they are waiting on our door step..I see everyone who ordered the 7th has gotten something to show for it so i hope we will as well. Please!!!

Nothing new on mine that I ordered the 8th. No email or anything as yet.

I sent a seething email to Verizon yesterday about the runaround I've experienced. Reps making unwarranted promises, this kind of thing really annoys me.

I got a call from Customer Service. Because of all the problems I've had.....I was given a $25 rebate.

I just got off the phone with CSR for a different reason. The lady told me she sees that it shipped but has no tracking number.

Verizon just told me it would arrive the 19th when I called them. I ordered the 8th.

I ordered on the 7th in store and I haven't gotten any word out of anyone yet. I've tried customer service twice and they still keep quoting me the original August 25th ship date. I'm trying to stop watching the kettle

I ordered mine by phone on the 9th. Phone hasn't shipped yet, and I have not received an email from Verizon about shipping . I was hoping I'd get it by the end of the week, but I'm thinking now that is wishful thinking.

I ordered my droid x on August 8th online. I have yet to get an email confirmation or get anywhere checking the order status online. I have called customer service quite a few times and I keep getting the same "ship by the 25th". I am very impatient and seeing that there are members in this forum that have received shipping information that placed their order the same day I did and after makes the wait just that much more difficult. I hope it comes by the end of this week. The 25th I around the corner. If don't have shipping confirmation or my shipment by then, Verizon will have a problem on their hands.

Ordered on the 31st of July. received on the 12th. Why complain people Verizon is shipping them way before the promised date. Some people will nver be happy.

Just called VZW...here is what I learned. It is about payment date, not order date.

I was told the following "If your payment for your X was received on the 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th our phones will ship no later than the 25th." The 7th-10th is a batch shipment. Then 11th-15th...ect. That is how vzw is grouping the ship by dates.

Orders placed on the early days are more likely to be shipped first (obviously).

So...If people who paid on the 7th are getting emails today, the 15th saying the 18th as delivery date we can comfortably assume the following.

Payment--Email--Delivery
7th--15th--18th (Wednesday)
8th--16th--19th (Thursday)
9th--17th--20th (Friday)
10th--18th--23rd (Monday)

It sounded good at first, but this is not accurate.
