DVD Catalyst

I just wanted to say great job with DVD Catalyst. It's extremely fast & unlike Handbrake, didn't give me any problems with ripping the DVD.

Can DVD Catalyst 3 convert a digital copy of a movie that comes with a purchased DVD so it can be used with a Droid ?

No. Those Digital Copies are worthless, unless you have an iPod/iPhone/Apple TV or a Plays for Sure device such as the Zune./ These files are wrapped in DRM, which needs to be activated on your computer and locked to your device.

It can convert the DVD, and as a bonus, you end up with a higher quality video file anyway.

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked is that I got a new "Blu-Ray" player for Xmas ( My son already has a PS3 ) and will only buying "Blu-Ray" based DVD in the future.

Unfortunately, no bluray support for DVD Catalyst (yet). I have been working on it, but conversion directly from a bluray disk (if they are already ripped to a different format such as MKV they work fine) does not work yet.

No problem.

The DVD Catalyst Free is what sold me on buying the full version. Already have 16 movies ripped for my droid. Only have 2 loaded and the rest on my external drive for easy swap out. If there is a movie that is a "must have" for the droid, I'll just go "rent it" and ripped it and then loaded it up.

I currently use "Meridian" app for my Audio/Video play back and it works great. I cut my movies in iphone format and they look really good on the screen.

This program is amazing!
Thank you for creating pre sets for the droid.

The video quality is outstanding on my phone!

Very user friendly and easy to use

I converted a bunch of videos for a 6 hour plane trip I have coming up and they look amazing and they converted fast as hell on the Droid HQ setting

Glad to hear it, angryunibrow

Thank you for using DVD Catalyst, and a Happy New Year :)

Combining tracks

DVDCatalyst,

Is there a way to combine separate tracks into one track.

I've got a DVD (MotoGP 2004 Review by White Horse Pub) and when scanned DVDCatylst shows 4 tracks. One is the "extras" track, one is the first half of the main presentation, one is the other half of the presentation and one appears to be a duplicate track of the later.

I'd like to create one final track with the entire presentation and extras combined. Is DVDcatalyst capable of this or is something else going on here?

Thanks, Victor

Very cool. As you add this feature make sure to include the ability to reorder the tracks.
Awesome product

It should work just fine, but there are a few video files that have some issues.
Did you try a DVD or a video file?
