So you don't have the gmail app installed? Can't open it up and log in? Were you given the option on your first reboot with the new OS?

Gmail is installed and so is the market. but I'm unable to get anything to sync nor let me enter or RE enter my credentials. I signed in when i loaded the new OS. I might just try wiping my data, but Ive installed this 3x now and i get the same results. :icon_evil:
Some one will have something for you, l am sure it is something simple, but I haven't encountered that, so I am not much help.

I searched this thread but didn't find an answer for this one. I seem to be having the same issue. I go to accounts & settings to login to my Google account but the only options are Corporate, Twitter and Facebook. I have G-Mail installed.

Aloha All,

Is 2.2 better than bugless beast1.1? Personally I'd like to wait for pete to put out a BB version of froyo, because he is the MAN...is flash player working with this?

^I heard some app are having problems running after u move it to the SD Card. It should be batter with later releases.

Sorry miami, I was typing my response while you were.

You've got a point about most installs being done with spr.

Really, my concern was about wiping system and boot. Is that a valid issue?

I don't see many people talking about it and it has made a diference in my experience.

Not trying to drift the thread, just figured id throw out a suggestion that has worked for me getting this rom to boot smoothly.

I've read 75% of this thread and I have no doubt that more people are having trouble with sprecovery than clockwork.

.
So that misinformation is not spread around this is incorrect.

I've been monitoring this thread since it started and flashing 2.2 with CW is causing some issues at this time.

Some people have luck with CW but the majority of clean installs are done via SPRecovery.

It's my job to correct misinformation so this is not an attack on you. It will just save a lot of members a headache when they are aware of potential problems.

I find this comment interesting as I have read this whole thread and I agree with c0y0te. Though some people have had issues with ClockWork as well I would not agree that the majority of clean installs has been with SPRecovery.

Well said and thank you.

Thanks for all the work everyone, this is great!!

I am trying to see if flash works but not sure, any good test sites?
Does flash work on this release?
Do I need to install any extra apps?

Cheers

Flash works, its still in beta so be aware it wont work everywhere Flash is needed. Some sites:

Radiotime.com. Click on a radio station and a lil Flash box pops up. U can control the volume, pause it, etc

Engadget.com. Youtube.com addictinggames.com

Metamorph is saying i'm not rooted. does anybody have any thoughts on this or how to fix it?

Mine said I did not have busybox installed, so I downloaded busybox (search for it) and placed it in /system/xbin

Which version did u install? I tried both busybox-1.15.3.tar.bz2.tar.out and busybox-1.16.1.tar.bz2.tar.out but both give me an 'unexpected "(" error' when i try to move the file from /data/local to /system/xbin
