hmmmm ok so something very weird happened. i was running new era nex theme before this and i did the update.zip. i have the full nex theme and new era on 2.2 it seems. very strange

Or try Dr Evil Hard Knock Life on youtube. I can see it now. It was blocked when I tried to see it yesterday. Some of the clips are kinda screwy but it works. It a way to see if Flash is working.

just loaded this bad boy up through clockwork....syncing now....this is awesome how fast this is coming together...dancedroid

Hmm I just tried to roll back to my cyanogen backup through rom manger from 2.2 and now I can't boot past the M logo and clockwork isn't showing up when I hold X. Anyone know how to fix this?

Since the flash apk is a plugin to the 2.2 browser could someone maybe pull the 2.2 browser apk and use it with flash without having to flash Froyo?

Just so everyone knows, i have worked out the kinks, and will be posting a series of O/C kernels with a wifi fix on my site, so hang tight.

the update.zip just gives you root access.

You have to do an sprecovery nandroid restore or clockworkmod restore for the 2.2 ROM. Seems root is lost (I think in the sprecovery version) and the update.zip gives root back.

i've read the entire thread and i'm the only 1 with the following problem

i'm running Pete's Bugless Beast v1.1 with SP recovery .99.3b. downloaded the SP recovery nandroid, unzipped with Winrar and took everything inside and replaced what was inside in the very last folder of sd/nandroid. wiped data and cache 2-3x each and followed the steps for advanced nandroid backup. after all this, i end up in an endless bootloop @ the Moto symbol

re-downloaded the froyo file again, repeated the process but took the whole froyo folder into nandroid, repeated the wipe and restore and still ended with the same results. i have no choice but to revert to BB v1.1 until some1 can guide me to the right direction cuz idk what else to do
