Your seeing nothing but positive? You read the last 5 pages? I think its great if people can get it to work but I too am seeing alot of people with probs.
Like I said, thats great if you can get it to work but I'd probably screw something up sitting in 100 degree heat now Id get to frustrated to fast..lol
Just wanted to say that you guys are awesome for giving this to us. And for those of you complaining with problems, this is a Release Candidate, not a full release, which means we're going to see a better, faster Froyo in later releases. Probably with wifi enabled etc. You guys should be thankful for what these guys went through to release this!
i've read the entire thread and i'm the only 1 with the following problem
i'm running Pete's Bugless Beast v1.1 with SP recovery .99.3b. downloaded the SP recovery nandroid, unzipped with Winrar and took everything inside and replaced what was inside in the very last folder of sd/nandroid. wiped data and cache 2-3x each and followed the steps for advanced nandroid backup. after all this, i end up in an endless bootloop @ the Moto symbol
re-downloaded the froyo file again, repeated the process but took the whole froyo folder into nandroid, repeated the wipe and restore and still ended with the same results. i have no choice but to revert to BB v1.1 until some1 can guide me to the right direction cuz idk what else to do
Wifi is a dealbreaker for me but thank you to everybody for their hard work and putting their butts on the line by sharing! The community for Android is the best of any smartphone I've owned.
I re-rooted today, loaded up busybox, and Titanium..so I eagerly await a build with Wifi, as soon as thats public I'll be flashing. Its either that or wait for Verizon/Moto to decide its ready and by then Gingerbread will probably be out.
radiotime.com is a good site to test if Flash is working. It only music but it still need flash to work.
The person who had the Adobe Flash folder extracted on the sdcard, install the apk in the folder. Depending on how you extracted it, it may be in the extracted folder on the sdcard.
