How do I fix the boot loop? I flashed it using SP and I get a boot loop, I tried rebooting phone.
Does anyone know? PLEASE HELP! I have read about 10 pages of this thread and have found no answer, anyone?

Mine fixed itself when I did a battery pull and plugged the phone into the computer via usb.
I tried this like 2 times now. I'm just going to reflash my old rom and then download a mirror and try this again.

Maps...

When I first installed 2.2, it told me that maps was unsuccessful, but it was actually installed an worked.

I removed the apk from system/apps, attempted reinstall from market and I get the incompatible update deal.

Was maps included with the original nandroid? If so, what version.

It was definitely working, although market said there was a problem updating ...

Im having the same issue.. no longer have maps, cannot reinstall..

installed. and is it just me or is this thing extremely slow? i mean the neural network lines are freezing and wow, it almost reminds me of a blackberry, i'm also getting random power cycles. anybody else experiencing this?

No. But my phone was pretty slow right after loading the rom. You'll notice in about 10 minutes that it has downloaded and installed all your old apps and syncing without actually notifying you. It should be much faster after that.

Backnblack is the only who seems to be able to download maps from the market. Can you uninstall/ reinstall maps to verify it works? I had no luck after wth SP or CW. Maps still a no go, all other apps download.....

UMDTERP, thanks that did the trick, i got back into clockwok recovery, thanks for your help, if anyone was having the same problem i was i suggest doing this as well, flashing an older version of CW recovery, thanks again

anyone else having trouble with wifi on the P3droid kernels? my phone keeps going through a cycle of connecting, acquiring ip, and disconnect. I though wifi was supposed to work?

when I do the sprecovery restore with froyo what options are supposed to be checked. just boot system and data right?

Ok, little help here. I've been rooted for awhile now using DM 1.0 I've basically forgot what to do lol. I've flashed back to the original stock ROM. I read the instructions on the 1st page. Do I need to download BOTH Clockwork AND SPRecovery or just one or the other.

The other question is I saw the updated P3 kernel for the WIFI fix. How do I install the kernel with all of this? Sorry for noob question. Someone hold my hand? lol

It is slow when it is syncing and without setcpu.
Install setcpu, set it to autodetect and 800 and you won't be disappointed.

Better yet, I just insgtalled the 1.2 kernel, and got
18.128 in Linpack
And it finally feels as fast as a benchmark would suggest.
