My Droid is stuck in the boot loop: Droid logo then the Red eye, droid logo and then the Red eye....is this normal or should I do another reset. It's been like this for nearly 10 minutes.

Mine was doing this. Make sure you wiped data/cache before you installed the SP Recovery. I just went back to SP Recovery, wiped, then installed the Froyo again and all was well.

Anyone having problems with MAPS should do as follows, go to (settings>applications>manage applications>hit the menu button>filter>all) now look for the maps and uninstall then go to market and re-install... this normally happens when you don't update your app before flashing a new ROM, but uh yea, this happened to me before and this is how I fixed it... anyone else having market annoyances? Seems like the Phone is running fast with 2.2 but the market screwes it all up by trying to reinstall all my apps and failing at it.

Uninstall is grayed out. Seems like it's just confused and doesn't think the app is there (market), but then thinks it is (manage apps).

I have no option to uninstall, that was my first thought too...

ya have to uninstall it manually via either the adb shell or the shell on the phone then it will reinstall correctly

i just installed it and it's running pretty slow..the sync icon has been up for about 5 mins. how long did it take for everyones phone to finally speed up

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for this. Got it installed and just waiting for it to finish syncing. How about that? As soon as I typed that, it finished. Still have to reinstall SU, but so far this is running great.

whats the command?

I deleted with Root Explorer then tried to reinstall and no dice..

How do I go into the nandroid back up and extract the .apk of maps to push it to my phone?
