any1?? i cant use my phone :icon_ cry:

what are the files you used? you may have tried to install a clockwork nandroid onto sprecovery
1. Make a backup of your current ROM.
2. Download the P3DF-CW.zip file from above.
3. Extract folder named 2010-06-05.06.15.32
4. Place folder 2010-06-05.06.15.32 in the /sdcard/clockwork/backup folder on your sdcard
5. Restart phone in recovery
6. Go to nandroid, select restore, select the above folder and press the camera button.

thats exactly what i did and still on moto logo screen after reboot

i thought u were using SPRecovery. ok you were using CW after all. make sure there isn't an extra folder in there... also, to select an option, use the dpad on the keyboard

Everything running perfect but i have no maps. I couldnt update it so deleted both files and try to download from market like i had done for a previous rom and now i cant reinsall maps at all. Really need some help on this i cant live with maps.

Everything you need to download is in the first post in this thread. I'm repeating some instructions for those who don't want to read 79 pages of posts, I hope this helps:

Things to remember with this release:

You must have a rooted Droid to use this ROM

Wifi and 3G now work...link: Froyo Overclocked Kernels includes *wifi* fix

The first time you run this update.zip it will take several minutes to install.

Follow the instructions like this: 1. Start with initial download; 2. Install the Flash .apk on your SD; 3. Install the P3Droid OC Kernalfor WIFI and 3G and you’ll be all set.

Those who are already rooted and saying "hey I lost SU", go to step #3 I described above
I had to run "Flash Alternate Recovery" twice before I could go back to SPRecovery from ROM Manager

For those having problems with Titanium Backup. Install the newest version of Busybox, and you should be good to go

Also a good amount of us had really laggy phones when getting into froyo, after about 20 minutes when the phones been running for a while it gets it's speed back and it's darn snappy
I'm going to incorporate that into my next reminder in a couple of hours if you are ok with that. Mine was the same way. Laggy when it was first syncing everything then it got really fast.

Is WiFi Tethering in this build?
I cannot find the option to make it work if it is.

Thanks!

you gotta use one of the custom kenal updates after that you will be fine an it should work if your just looking for the option though its in settings and in wireless and network settings

I have the 1Ghz Kernel installed, WiFi itself is working fine.
I'm hooked up to my router with no issue at all.

I still cannot find the option to turn on WiFi tethering though.

Under Wireless and Networks the Tethering tab only shows USB and it's greyed out.

i was using sprecovery is that the problem??? i placed that zip and extracted it in my nandroid folder and went into sprecovery and did an advanced restore with froyo and then hit reboot and now just get the moto logo tried going into recovery again and its not on sirspychos anymore im guessin its now on cw, so how do i get my old 2.1 smoked glass rom back???????

Not understanding how to install the update.zip

Directions say to extract it to sd card. Left with 3 folders. Can i not just use rom manager and install the update.zip?

i still cant get maps to work. ive read every post and deleted the map.apk and reinstalled. keeps failing on installation, i'm sure its something simple i'm doing wrong

thanks for this. phone runs fast and flawless....all my apps reloaded automatically, maps works. not one force close. Running at 900mhz 14.2 mflops.

It's not something you'll find in the market. I believe it's an .apk and hopefully someone can link you to it.
