Ads are unbearable. I will need to go back to BB 1.1 if I dont get rid of them. I have been spoiled. Anyone know how?

I believe in the settings for the browser, you choose "Enable Plugins" and set it to "on Demand"...They are not bugging me yet though, so I have yet to try

Yeah, I meant in apps. Like I never saw any ads in apps in 2.1 now they're everywhere. I installed BB pretty much as soon as I got my phone.

Actually, he just mentioned that he didn't wipe anything at all...might that be the issue? I wiped data and cache and Maps didnt want to install.

I don't know what happened.. I had a problem with Titanium Backup "parsing the package" for my apps.. So i went back to my old ROM and when i went back to 2.2 I don't see Apps2SD AT ALL!! Now it keeps telling me that to make room cause my internal memory is full..

But Awesome job you guys THANK YOU SO MUCH for 2.2, the new kernels are amazing.. now if I can just get my phone back to where I had it.. Finally decided to set it up, and then this happens..

Pete (and JRummy) have scripts that block ads. Again, this is pretty standard fare at this time - give the devs a chance to fine tune and write all those extras.

seems LEDsHack causes the refreshing in games. every 5 seconds the games flash and reset or go to a quick blank screen.

ad free android always blocked them for me. you could always just edit your host file. i usually do that anyways since some sites update their banner urls faster than bb or adfree can update their files.
