Guys, remember... 2.2 is not out for the Motorola Droid yet, (obviously) so some apps just flat out don't work. Alot of devs haven't had a chance to fix the bugs they don't even know about yet on the Droid.

I noticed my LED flashlight app doesn't work anymore, I guess it just won't work until the dev fixes it.

Still worth it.. I just miss my transparent shade and blue colors... Adamz where are u man.

Somebody said he had it working in a window through some widget link. I don't use hulu so I don't know, but they were saying 30 pages ago that there was a link to a windowed window you could zoom in on.

Well, that "Hulu Player Widget" is a link to a URL...

Here is the deal...

First you have to set it to desktop mode. Type about:debug then enter (or go). Then scroll down to "UA String" and change to desktop. Then hit the back button.

Then you have to go to Hulu Player Widget

Then you can watch (watching now).

The only ***** is that you have to do this EVERY time you launch the browser, or you will get a message that says something about a "proxy" and it won't work...

I am loving the speed and all the new features, but I can not get the market to open. It just flashes like its opening the app. I haven't heard of anyone losing their marketplace yet. I love froyo but not at the loss of my Market.
Any Ideas?

Flashed w/out and w full wipe: same outcome
Flashed the 1200/wifi fix: successful
Installed Flash: Works!
I have the market icon, and i can read "terms and agreement" at the top as it flashes across the screen.

I have installed a previous rom just to make sure it wasn't hardware related?? and 2.1 roms still have a working marketplace.

It seems like a lot of people have had trouble using sprecovery.

Are people losing root with clockwork also?

I personaly like clockwork because it allows you to wipe all four partitions as many times as you want before installing.

I always do this and rarely ever have problems that aren't well documented with the rom

I haven't seen anyone with problems with SPR (though I'm sure they are out there)... I installed with SPR with no issues.

For people who loose root with CW, install SPR, then install CW again. This will fix the issue (for everyone I have seen).

As far as wiping with SPR, I'm not sure the differences, but I always do a wipe 3 times and roms install fine...Note, I am not saying that is always the case, just with me..

That is the case, you are correct. That said, I installed this rom doing that with no problems...It's running smooth as butter. AND I have extra partitions on my SD card due to trying out the Passion Rom I think it was from Boost & co..

SUPER laggy for about 15 minutes because the marketplace was trying to restore all my apps. didn't know it could even do that. at first it was really laggy and unusable but i realized that apps were starting to pop up so i just waited a bit and now everything is good to gooo. only question is how do i install flash? i dled the thing and its just a bunch of folders and files, no apk

When I restore my text from SMS backup & restore(about 8000 texts) the messaging application freezes and force close. And it cause me to lose the power+X option. Only boots to a blank screen. Took me about 2 hour to reflash to 2.0.1 from RSD and back to 2.2.
So BEWAR IF USING SMS Backup & Restore!!!!

I wiped data and cache 3x and then used SPR restore to install 2.2 but didn't have root access. If it matters I came from Bugless 1.1.

I see that some have this problem and others don't -- does anyone know why, or what I can do to get this working with SPR?

First check if you still have root, open android terminal and type "su" look for "#" to see if you are still rooted. Root your phone again if you lost it and then flash 2.2 over

or try 2.2 using clockwork recovery
