Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

my usage has been moderate. mostly surfed the web, checked email, facebook, made a few calls and played some games. my on-screen time is about 2 hours which isn't that much but still. with any other phone I would have to charge at the end of the day.

Rumblee1 - I just found & downloaded one called "Transparent Weather Clock." Looks nice on my phone and has good reviews.

yea id be very impressed with that while leaving 4g on all day.. something I can't currently do.... everyone's use is different and that's why I ask because 2 hours screen on to me is very very light use... I'm about 2 hours in before lunch lol

It isn't the transparency of the clock. All the pics for the weather are different. And you can't choose what app will launch when you hit the weather icon.

Is anyone elses kernel using a lot of battery? Gsam is saying kernel is using 25% and android os is using another 9%

Finally ordered my note 2 from gsm nation. They had the better customer reviews over other online retailers. Can't wait for my phone now. Pretty excited. I use my phone 24/7 so good reviews about the battery life of the phone is definitely a great consolation. What is the longest that someone has been able to go on heavy usage without needing a charge?

Well, I waited for to check out the Note 2....... It is absolutely not for me. Large is an understatement. No wonder they have Lebron James using it in their ads. His hands are the only ones that can make it look normal.

yeah it is a big device and it isnt for everyone. For me the features outweigh the size plus I like having the larger screen for typing and watching movies and vids. With that said I can see people gravitating the a phone like the s3, razr hd, or dna.

Yeah it's definitely not for everyone. I've been waiting for VZN to pick it up specifically BECAUSE of the size because it made my transition to on-screen typing a lot easier. It's wide enough for me to feel comfortable learning to type on the screen instead of my old hard keyboard. And I also love all the other nice features as well including the size. But it's definitely not for everyone that's for sure. I think the next best options are the RAZR MAXX or GS3. You can't go wrong with either of those phones.

I'm loving the size. I am very pleased with the the experience. The wait sucked for sure. I I used my Bionic for over a year and I should be able to use this for a while too. For anyone interested the phone has been rooted and the first custom ROM is now available at XDA
