Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

Well, I waited for to check out the Note 2....... It is absolutely not for me. Large is an understatement. No wonder they have Lebron James using it in their ads. His hands are the only ones that can make it look normal.
There's no one phone for everyone (are you listening apple?) and most people tell me that this phone is not for them. Half the time I think they are only telling themselves that because they already bought the new iPhone or S3. After having it for a little while, I think I like it most because of the size. I helped my friend out with a cricket Android phone and it felt comically small. So weird how the brain adapts...

My nexus feels small compared to the note 2, and the nexus is in mildly bulky case while the note is naked. Lol

For me, I think the perfect phone would be a Galaxy S3 Note.....basically a phone the size of the Galaxy S3, but with the S-Pen like the Note 2. But then I can see where the pen would be less effective if you were stuck with a smaller screen.

When I got the Note, it was naked for three days until I got the cases I ordered, and honestly I thought it felt too thin. It felt very fragile in my hands being so thin, and it feels better with a case on it. Or maybe I was conditioned to be more comfortable with a thicker phone since prior to the Note 2, I had a Rezound with an extended battery, and prior to that I had a Thunderbolt with an extended battery.

Just unboxed mine this afternoon and I feel exactly the same way. I am coming from a bionic with extended battery and case.

Definitely feels best with a slim case.. I just posted on Note forum how I can't use another phone now since handling this beast.. My Nexus feels tiny...

Definitely better with a case. This phone is great for those with large hands. After using and living this phone, everything else is SMALL! THIS PHONE IS AWESOME. Oh, the radio also works very well. I have had the Charge before this. Phone quality is excellent on this phone in our marginal area. Still only 3g Web though. The joys of being in the country!

If you have the Verizon model, there's no need to add multi window. It already comes with it.

I think rumblee1 was asking if there's a way to add apps to the multi-window list.

At present, there's not a way to do it the stock settings on a Verizon Note 2. I've seen some work arounds for rooted and non-rooted devices on XDA that allow some measure of it though.

Here's my case summary.. Lol

I received my Seidio surface with kickstand.. It's not for me... Fit is very good but it feels a bit slippery for my taste..maybe bc I'm used to the tpu cases... Also since it's a two piece slide that little miniscule gap bothers my OCD.. Finger prints on the black one bother me a bit as well.. Also I had a hard time taking it off.. I'm sure it will be easier with time but it was comical watching me for a good 5 minutes..

Here's my take on others:
1. Flexishield my favorite tpu case.. Very slim;black looks glossy and transparent has a haze which makes it look great.. (they make a wave stand case.. I'm going to check it out)..
2. Cruzerlite Androidified..Nice fit too.. Love the white on white Note2.. I don't like my clear bc on back seems you see a little bubble(air pocket which won't go away) OCD again.. I might order another kind from them solid..

I'm also waiting on Diztronic which should be out this month..

Hope this helps..

Holding "4.3" screens feels small now.... Very odd lmao, of course the note two never felt too big in my hands.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Went from the Droid X to the Note 2 and passed the Droid to my wife. That phone feels like a toy now. The new one however feels absolutely perfect.
