This won't be known until Verizon comments on it.

A store rep told me today that I could preorder in store after work and the Nov 27th was a "will be shipped by" date meaning that it is the latest date it will ship. From her experience, it may be 1-2 wks for it to ship. However, she's just a rep and that's not an official press release from verizon, so you can't count on it.

This launch has been the latest example of just how much of a giant a-hole the company has become:
1. No solid information even after a launch party that should've provided details. Possibly a month later than all others.
2. Offering the lowest storage capacity model of a media phone.
3. Being the only carry to brand the front (why not just etch "vzw" into the gorilla glass you POS).
4. Possibly the only carrier to lock the bootloader.
5. And then of course 14 out of 16 gbs of garbage software.
6. Oh, and they still want my unlimited data gone.

I really can't recall ever being so pissed as a customer as I am with this company at this point.

It appears that at this point, all of the U.S. carriers are only offering the 16GB model for pre-order. I'm holding off on pre-ordering it myself because I'm waiting to see if there's a chance the 32GB version will be coming at sometime soon. I'd love the 64GB version, but I seriously doubt we'll see that officially released in the U.S., particularly on Verizon.

So this thing is16gb? Unless I missed it I didn't see where it stated it. I also swore someone told me Verizon's would be 32gb. Either way I didn't see it on the preorder page.

Yeah, it's 16GB. It's not listed on the initial pre-order page, but it's there next to the name of the phone when you select the phone at the beginning of the pre-order process. geoff5093's screenshot above shows it:

The video I watched from phonedog last night at the show showed Verizon's Note 2 and suprising didn't have much bloat as the usual droids but still ridiculous in my mind.
