Gorgeous, mysterious, EVO-ish HTC device headed for Verizon

As crazy as it sounds and as much as it pains me, I hope to not see this until Verizon's CEO is standing on stage at CES in January sporting some LTE.

I disagree! I'd love to get this as a christmas present.

As much as I would love to get this sooner then later, I wouldn't be upset if they did announce it being an LTE phone due out early next year, I'm just very curious and anxious to know the full specs!

A quick little bit about this device as a whole. While at the Android BBQ there was the Desire HD with an HTC PR guy. I can tell you after 10 minutes with this device I want it now. His was early hardware but what a device. Smooth and the new sense on it. The new sense now has built in themes... It was fast and on point with its beautiful touch screen... The PR guy wouldnt let me take any photos but for those fo you who think you want this device. You do! I know I will be targeting this device as my next phone

Did he confirm this was headed for Verizon and if the Nov/Dec release is possible?

By early HW, did he make any indication this could become a LTE device and if that would push it into 2011?

The desire HD looks good but if they release it the exact same as the Euro version i dont think it will be enough to jump on it..

everyone knows how many goodies are coming next year.. but thats next year sometime, not necessarily in the beginning of the year.. i hope they squeeze a surprise in for Christmas, i dont see why they wouldnt but that verizon roadmap doesnt look promising..

androidandme.com has sources saying be on the look out for a dual core with verizon sometime before 2010 ends but meh.. i just dont have the same hopes i had for 2010..

Well Today T-Mobile introduced an another phone fromt he my touch series.
It has the same CPU as the DesireHD and has 4G connectivity.

I think that it must be one of the best phones out there.

I take it they weren't giving out g2's at this event like some were saying. Marketing BS.
So you didn't ask about the mythical htc superphone then?

On November release is extremely possibe... verizon is a yes...LTE i was using a version made for now. Could be possible

Not sure if it will come out in Nov/Dec, with the Lexicon coming and absolutely no news of the Incredible HD since the first pictures leaked out. Just an opinion but I'd guess Early Q1 2011. Can't wait for this.

Let's jope that's not the case....November release will put it apart. besides the other stuff is nice....this is a whole new level

I agree...I love HTC's designs (no offense to Moto phone owners, I am one of you guys too, but I feel Moto's designs are a bit clunky) and Sense UI. I loved Sense UI after trying it out on my friends HTC Hero, was surprised how smooth it was even with that slow processor.
