doesnt go along with the NFL Cities roll out article the other day.. he said there would be no smartphones released when this rolls out..
i think they are confusing us on purpose haha i think we will know by beginning of November at the latest.. black friday will be key..
good find.. but im pretty sure like the droiddoes.com bs you will be the last to find out something if your going to wait on an email from Verizon.. im not even going to bother putting my email in lol

So, is the Desire HD and the Incredible HD different? or same? I don't think I saw a Front Facing camera on the Desire Hd? But isn't it basically supposed to be an EVO?
i have a hunch (which honestly doesn't mean **** lol) that they released the Desire HD to euro only because the US one will be different in hopefully better ways..
for instance, we already know the Desire HD and the phone on this threads first page are almost EXACTLY the same phone.. the back is a little different on the pictured phone and obviously there is a front facing camera on it and not the Desire HD..
Hopefully the phone we are waiting on will be a slight upgrade to the Desire HD and be called the Scorpion or somethign with better processor i cant see myself waiting this long and buying a 1ghz processor then i wouldn't have something special

I keep waiting and checking daily for some good news that this phone or an improved version will be hitting Verizon this fall, but each time I pick up the Fascinate I'm really tempted. Then a little voice in my head says... "PUT DOWN THE FASCINATE AND STEP AWAY SLOWLY!" I need some HTC goodness SOON!

Ya I know how u feel man I have had the origional droid since the day it came out so I'm waiting patiently for a worthy upgrade.. the droid x almost got me but I'm remaining patient for now lol.. bootloader killed droid x for me to be honest. Nice to know HTC is cool with me rooting and roming myphone.
Viper I feel the same way you do...I was going to buy a Droid X just a few days ago and since I seen this phone from the BGR post, I am HOPING it will come to light as a Verizon phone. I decided to wait now for a better phone. The X is nice and alot of my friends have them now but I can't see getting a phone with a 1Ghz processor when I know by next spring I will be kicking myself for not waiting on something better and faster, and over the years I've done that to myself time and time again. lol
I heard next spring a dual core 1.2 or 1.3Ghz will around, that would be sweet!! But this EVO looking phone looks too good to pass up. The videos I've seen of the hands-on reviews of the Desire HD are enough to convince me to wait. That is one nice phone...it will be hard to wait, but ultimately worth it!! Guess I'll just keep flashing Droid Roms till then. lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Desire HD is just an Evo for Europe right? Not to be a downer on the Evo, but I am not impressed by its Snapdragon processor. I will wait for the 1.2ghz dualcore, because that is where I feel the next plateau will be. Thus buying it at launch will allow me to be able to enjoy the top of the line for a small bit longer than normal.
