This is hopefully the U.S. version of the Desire HD I assume...if so, I want it!! That phone is sooooo sweet. I'd rather have HTC Sense than Motoblur anyday. Dual-core or not.

I'd be surprised. It will probably end up being an exact (or almost exact) copy of the Desire's specs. Which, with that new snapdragon and RAM, seem amazing.

I have no want for dual core right now.

They continue to teel me 1.3 ghz on release.. i see moto at 1.2 now so anyhting is possible. Until we see retail hardware im being patient

I was thinking this as well, but like I said, Miami could hav easily made a typo... He's only human.

But yeah, if it's running at 1GHz with the new Snapdragon processors, then I'm all for it. I was playing with my buddies brand new G2 and the processor on it runs at 800MHz and damn does that thing fly... Imagine that at 1GHz lol.

Wow. That would be one powerful phone. I think upon root though, in an effort to save battery, I would clock the speed back a bit

1.3Ghz seems like overkill when as many apps as I have fingers take advantage of it.

You know, since HTC is coming out with the Merge supposedly in November, which is basically the Desire Z, couldn't Verizon possibly come out with this phone in December as their version of the Desire HD? I'd like to think so!! lol

The Desire Z and HD came out in Europe at the same time I believe, Verizon needs to throw us a bone and let this one out of the bag!! If we do have to wait till March, it would be cool to have a processor faster than 1Ghz though. I can keep my Droid until then.

Sorry for the double post but if this thing ran at 1.3GHz with the new Snapdragon processor, that would be perfect... As Tanknspank said, I'm in no rush for dual core phones... Single core processors are plenty fast.

You know, since HTC is coming out with the Merge supposedly in November, which is basically the Desire Z, couldn't Verizon possibly come out with this phone in December as their version of the Desire HD? I'd like to think so!! lol

No great phones will be out until late next year. If you can't wait jump on this or any of the other phones coming out. This is as good as it gets for a bit. Disappointing to say the least .

This will probably be out at the end of the year CK.

I don't see how much better something can get, as dual-core or not, moto is not making their phones enjoyable anymore.

Dual-core is overkill right now on a phone right now anyway.
