Gorgeous, mysterious, EVO-ish HTC device headed for Verizon

Miami said its supposed to have a 1.3GHz processor for anyone wondering but he could have made a typo so don't take his or my word for this, it's just a rumor... For now.

I'd be surprised. It will probably end up being an exact (or almost exact) copy of the Desire's specs. Which, with that new snapdragon and RAM, seem amazing.

I have no want for dual core right now.

They continue to teel me 1.3 ghz on release.. i see moto at 1.2 now so anyhting is possible. Until we see retail hardware im being patient

Agreed Tank!! I checked out videos on Youtube of the Desire HD and it's ridiculous!! How come Europe gets all the cool stuff first? The Fastboot alone is awesome. Then being able to change themes on the fly is sick. Maps are built in, it's just awesome. Hopefully if and when it comes to America, HTC won't dumb it down and take away some features of the European version.

If the Moto T2 goes to AT&T first, as has been rumored, I might go back to this as my VZW upgrade. I'm eligible on 12/4 and have been waiting patiently to pull the trigger....

No great phones will be out until late next year. If you can't wait jump on this or any of the other phones coming out. This is as good as it gets for a bit. Disappointing to say the least .

I just want the hardware. That hardware would allow for so much. The new sense would be nice, but I doubt I would keep it once true nand unlock would come along.

But yeah, I'm saving up all my money just to get this phone... I've already sold my brand new $300 iPod touch 4g to get a nano so i can save at least $150 from that... So yeah, I'm really counting on this phone lol. Selling an iPod to get this phone may not seem like a lot to you it's, but I'm only 15 and don't have a job, so yeah lol, thats a lot for me. xD

Even if this comes out with the new 1Ghz Snapdragon processor it will be enough....look at what numbers the 800Mhz HTC Merge is setting on the Quadrant. It's as fast as the 1Ghz processor in the Droid X. If so, the new 1Ghz Snapdragon in this beauty will be plenty fast enough. Watch the videos of the Desire HD....everything is like instant when you tap on it. I looked for the what the Desire HD does in the quadrant but can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know what numbers it's hitting?

If only mine were like yours lol. My mom is more accepting of it as my dad is, but it's always my dad that I can convince to actually let me buy the new tech stuff, while my mom is totally different and starts screaming that I waste my money lol.
