Can't wait!!!!!!!! As a veryyy loyal original Droid user, I can safely say that if this baby is all it's cracked up to be, it WILL be my next phone!!!!

I am sorry if this has been asked already, but is it safe to assume this phone will utilize Verizon's 4G network?

If it comes out in November like they say, then I would doubt it.

Why do you say that? I was tempted to believe otherwise for those same reasons... 4G is supposed to be "ready" by the end of 2010! Maybe it's just wishful thinking... I probably won't buy this phone, then. I want to be able to take advantage of 4G!!!

expect this to be 3G not lte ready..now that's not to say VZW doesn't have a trick up thier sleeve for lte too....afterall they are beginning to ramp up thier call centers now . I was told over 1k in new employees then an article I saw that said 1700 new employees.... all ready by end of the year and on the phones... The only question left for me is what kind of damage is gonna happen to att and thier user base as the iphone and di HD and droid pro and galaxy tablets all come out with the merge and others.. gonna be a big close and nice start to the new year for big red....

I sure hope they have all the bandwidth they think

Great to hear you're trying to get fresh new pictures of the device. I certainly can't wait for this device. I've been envious of Sprint for having the Evo, and now we get one ourselves. :)

This is my biggest worry :(

again they think 35% (polled ) of IPhone users "could" switch to VZW when it drops plus tablets plus+ plus . remeber tierd data and wifi enabled devices. These days I see lots of free WIFI too so maybe this is a plus. Then there will be people who buy the low end tiers and set wifi only cause they want the subsidized pricing. So they by x MB's and are always around wifi or something. It appears to me VZW has planned this very very well with the release of lte coming and all. I would bet we dont see a slow down on data....now voice calls being dropped.... thats my concern :)

they don't give you much choice....200mb is almost nothing, ok for email and some very light browsing on the go, I suppose. Now a 2gig plan I could probably consider But just an hour of pandora a day would push you close to 2gigs.

I promise you it won't be 4G look at CES for that..

On MOnday ill release a doc that shows all of the new plans. I can tell you now 10 gb's is $80 a month :icon_eek:, More than double my home isp charges.

If I could get 5 gb's for $30 like now I would do that, but even that's going to $50.

miami that's disheartening. I may be doing away with a smartphone because of the data pricing...

*DroidForums app DOES*

I heard that Verizon was going to keep its unlimited 29.99 3g data within the new tiered plans. If it goes that way I will just keep this evo I am trying out.

Trying out Sprint for a month. Sent from my Evo using Tapatalk. 4G is pointless when you don't live in one of the few available network areas.

I know what document you're talking about I think. Could of sworn thats tablet data pricing though. Sure you aren't getting confused, or is it me? lol.

I sincerely hope you're not the one getting confused
