Gorgeous, mysterious, EVO-ish HTC device headed for Verizon

I feel confident that it will come out, Miami wouldn't put it out there if it wasn't going to happen. He is likely still getting the details and stuff.

Just in case, on the odd chance this phone didn't come out, what would others use, want or keep? It pays to hedge your bets.

If he was still getting info...then why no update?

I mean...why not come out and say that he is still gathering data/pics and they will be up soon. Last communication is that they would be up "tomorrow" and that was days ago.

I think I missed the part where he owes any of you anything. He'll put the pics and info up when he has them ready and has the time.

I'd take this rumor with a grain of salt.

A phone of the magnitude would definitely not be under wraps this close to the release date. No solid confirmation, no hands-on, pictured device isn't verizon branded(and we all know vzw brands everything.) I'm pulling for this to be true, but i'm certainly not placing my eggs in a basket that may not exist.

Let me say I have never stated he owes us anything, period. I am like many others here, in that I appreciate the information that is provided and is advanced knowledge available to insiders.

That said just because someone doesn't post right away the "details" or "pics" is neither negative or positive. I lurk, read, and input on many forums and share my thoughts and opinions. At the end of the day, IF this phone doesn't make it out the next logical question is then what else is worth getting right now?

Regardless if it comes out or not on Nov. 23rd. I am going to wait anyway. There are so many problems when you get a phone on day one. Plus I want to see what the T2 is going to have also. I will purchase this phone or the T2 in the 1st Quarter of Next year. So there is no rush for me. Miami take your time.. I can wait for my next HTC phone fix from you or anyone who gets the info...

Great to hear that you are still with us!! Any idea on when you think you will be able to get those pics posted? And I guess I should try and confirm...do you have pics already or are you still hoping to get pics. Also...I was wondering about the battery life. I saw this for the original Droid Incredible...maybe there will be something like this for the new one.

i dont think he owes us anything other than what he said he would provide, plain and simple.. im not about to be a d*ck but Miami did say he would post pics monday or tuesday and its now thursday so how can you blame anyone for getting ancy?

since he said that several websites have posted the story using this website and thread as reference so we have had that much more people in here following.. if he isnt going to give us what he said the least he can do is inform us of why there is a delay.. i dont believe any less the phone is coming but it would be nice for him to say something along the lines of "i have the pics but i cant release them yet" "sorry havent been able to get the pictures yet" "HTC has threatened my life i can no longer provide pictures" any of those will do lol

I hear you about getting a phone day one. The good thing about this device - if all the rumors and pics thus far are true - is that it shared development with other HTC devices that are already on the market...beginning with the EVO4G, then the Desire HD and the windows7 version comiong out. They all share the same basic design - with each new phone having slight improvements over the previous design. That being said - I plan on ordering this the day it is announced. If past big releases are any indication with VZW - they won't have enough stock on hand to satisfy demand. I want mine on release day.

But...as someone else stated...if this is really coming to VZW...why isn't the phone branded a VZW phone?

As to going LTE with the T2. I see this HTC Droid as possibly the last major top tier 3G device (besides the iPhone4) that Verizon will offer. All their other non Apple top tier phones I suspect will be LTE and will most likely have a higher monthly bill. I am willing to wait another year to see what devices come out between November 2011 and June 2012 on LTE/4G.

Verizon...bring us the goods on this new HTC phone. I have my NE2 ready to put toward this phone!!!
