Okay, well LTE "theroretically" offer DL speed of up to 300mbps and UL speeds of up to 80 MBPS. Real world speeds in the continental US will probably traslate to roughly half of that, if not a little less. But 125-150DL, and 40-50UL is still blazing fast to our current standards.
If you need a new phone pretty soon and this phone's specs hit your sweet spot(4.3" screen, fast processor etc,) then you should prob just get this handset.
Seeing sprint charge $10 more for 4G access, I can bet that verizon will do the same if not $15. If you do not live in a major city like Dallas/FW, NYC, Chicago etc, then just wait or get this phone. It will be 'till late 2012 until 4g is fully nation-wide if not early 2013.
So you could get this pimpin HTC beast and keep it for a year or two, then when 4G comes to your area(or is nation wide) upgrade to the LTE handset then.
