Well it looks like the tweets are flying now agreeing with that article that it will be called the Droid Incredible HD..

where are the tweets?.....in other words tweeting htc, df, ?????????

Yeah that white Incredible is just a replacement back for the current Incredible. Nothing special there.

Im thinking/hope this might come out during the same time Motorola claims their 2ghz phone releases before the end of the year. Which one will be better is the question though...

I'm hoping for better resolution then the standard htc phones and an improved chipset, I'm not too keen on the current snapdragon processor with no dedicated gpu

Haven't seen anyone comment - the kickstand is a fantastic idea! Hopefully it has a couple of adjustable settings...perfect for watching some tv shows or a movie.

The Only way I will purchase this phone is if it has HDMI Port, 16G Micro SD Card, 720P,World Phone, and 4G. I will give my DX to my wife.

Yes because something thats 800 mhz and 2.1 sounds like “It makes the Droid 2 look like a kids toy,”

Unless you name this source its kinda pointless to say something like that even if you say you may be way off.. No disrespect just being honest, BGR has pretty reliable sources when they make claims like that.

And Im leaning towards this not being the merge either, because the merge I saw was maroon and like DroidXpert said, it had a slider.

But it was rumored that HTC would release a LTE phone by years end, and vzw is testing LTE in some markets so it really isnt that far fetched. Im guessing this phone will be 1.3 ghz or higher, but just a guess.

Theres gonna be other high end handsets before the years over, some Im sure we havent even heard of yet.

I am hearing maybe 1.3 to 1.5 and im not sure of the name yet, but I can tell you. If it holds that look (colors and all) I will be all in on it. Then HTC will have a seriously popular device too

Yea, you really cant beat a brushed steel look... I just wished it had a slider. But, Im still very happy with my droid 1 and am not up for an upgrade till next Nov. By then Im sure Cray will have a 200ghz phone wiIth a front facing 1080 3D camera and built in kegmeister dancedroid

You realize you can upgrade after 1 year on a 2 year contact right? I got the droid in november and can upgrade this november.. u just don't get new every 2 credit.
