While I think people should remain respectful about this - I think the mods need to be careful about these public warnings. If you are going to publically warn people that are disrespectful then I think you need to publically ask that other mods/admin folks not repeatedly make claims and give expected arrival times of major news and not deliver. It goes both ways. Personally I think that if the mods/admins want to have offline discussions about coming news and big leaks without us knowing that is fine. But don't throw things out there with deadlines of (tomorrow, tonight, very soon, in an hour) and then not deliver.

I think most people wouldn't be so frustrated about this had they not been told nearly two days ago that "in an hour" we would have the goods. And that was after being told numerous times check back tonight, tomorrow, very soon for the pics/details. While some people may not be acting very professional - I think the site has some responsibility to properly vet their big leaks and make sure that if someone says "in an hour" that someing materializes in an hour.

Depends if you venture into the area of disrespect to the admin or staff of this forum.

Look im not trying to disrespect anyone but if you say you have info then post it if you dont then dont say nothing. but dont tell me im in danger of "anything". cause im not, oooh im gonna get banned big deal. this has become pointless, and if you think that im wrong. EAT ME!dancedroid:icon_ banana:dancedroid:icon_ banana:

You were warned. Your last statement is over the line.

ya dude was asking for it there.. haha

I have said this before and apparently get to say it again. Sources are an unknown. Things can happen to that information. We are doing this to help this community and offer information when we can. Sometimes things go wrong. As soon as the information is available, we will present it. But the demands and insults get old. It is unnecessary and does nothing other than inflame the topic.

Sorry, let me sum this up for all of you. You can believe me or not, but this is what I was told:

"Along side of the Samsung Continuum, Zeal, Motorola CITRUS, there will be a silent release of the HTC Droid Incredible HD to hit Verizon stores on November 11th. The release date was supposed to be silent until launch day due to the ongoing liquidation of all HTC Droid Incredibles as there is still a major surplus of the phone. This allows us to clear our inventory in order to stock units of the second generation phone."

- Anonymous Senior Financial Analyst of Verizon Wireless.

I really hope this is true since that is the day my contract is updancedroidI mean I can wait 12 days if it doesn't happen but still!

That's one day before my birthday. I would love that for a birthday present.

Completely understand, question though, with the possibility of things "going wrong" you think there is any chance the date he gave was wrong? I would love more pics and info, but the date is by far the most important thing to me. So was just wondering as a fellow mod, you think the date he gave is still set?

I hear you - but Miami has stated that he has either scene or even has pictures in his possession. If he has information and the Verizon folks have been jerking him around for nearly two weeks - then lets move forward and post what is available now instead of making repeated claims that something is about to be posted...and then never delivering.

Or is it in fact the 11th!?!

The guy or gal in charge of marketing for this phone is pure genius! Humans always want what we can't have. They are stringing us along, making us angry and wanting the phone more and more each day. This marketing strategy gets a grade A. Beautifully played Verizon, you guys just might have kept me from switching to Tmo. That being said, I will most likely be in line before the doors open for this thing dancedroid

i dont mind if miami gives us updates but perhaps it may be better to next time not give us specific time frames, that inflames the thread more than anything imo..

like i mentioned before if he just said i will have the info sometime in the next week most of this would of been avoided and not expected and your site would of seen a lot less traffic so how can you blame us for thinking that way?

either way as you and many other say the info will be here when its here but when words are being said to influence us to keep checking periodically its hard to not get upset when its not here..

none of this is your fault your trying to protect your comrade but he really needs to present this differently next time to prepare for things to change.

Im done complaining for now but it would be nice to see an update from him today..
