Here We Go Again.. ICS Release Date May Be Close!!

The good news is tht this thread got a lot of attention, now even more people will disregard the next inaccurate prediction :) I hate when certain tech sites *cough cough* first link try to gain hits by making up BS, it's why I virtually stopped reading bgr (non stop inaccurate iPhone info). The sad thing is these sites weren't bad in other areas.

Can you explain where you're seeing no ICS on the 12th? I'm guessing there's a link?

A soak test can take 3 days, or 3 weeks. I've been part of a soak that was 2 days and being pushed the third.

I've also been part of a soak where we were invited, and nothing happened for 2 months or so... that was the last x2 soak :)

That being said... I think we will get it when we go to the Kroger :D ....

Now don't hit your monitors cause I won't feel it :)... OK, who was that??. I felt that :( :sly:

Or you can just root and install the leak just like I did yesterday. Now I don't have to wait for an OTA and I can still upgrade.

So where could I find the newest leaked build of ics? Also can it be installed by just placing it on the SD card? Just don't want to root my phone.

There's no link. Just the fact that there hasn't been a soak test yet.

Well the newest leaks will take you off the upgrade path. But you can find some info here: http://www.razrforums.com/forum/dro...-ics-leak-without-cheesecake-retain-root.html please note that the "leak links in the OP are for those running version 6.12.173.

There are files for those that are on version 6.12.181.

Edit: you have to be rooted but root is a simple one click application.
