Love this rom sure hope they can add the custom user agent to the stock browser like in cyanogen. I love how smooth this is and the only thing I want is to be able to check desktop in the stock browser. I aslo know about about:debug which doesn't work the same. I want to be able to have the full desktop experiance if I want. Anyone know if there is a way to hack the browser to add this? Anyways love the rom.

I just installed Sapphire 1.0 this morning, however I did not wipe first. I was using the newest Chevy ROM and have had no problems at all except for GMail will FC occasionally. Should I start over or did I get lucky here?

I also came from SS 4.6. I wiped data/cache though and did not restore any system data and only app data for a few select apps. I'm having no FC issues. You could always back up your current setup, wipe data/cache and see if the gmail issues go away.

Building from source is great and all, but all the roms built off the leak have access to this app...

Its not y'alls fault, you did a hell of a job on this. I would consider it if I didn't need the app. Sticking with BB .4.

Weird I search for ESPN and ESPN Radio is the 2nd one in the list.
It costs money so I can't test but should download.

With this release, we have done away with the “stock” theme in favor of just re-applying the provided update/gapp update without wiping data

I get the occasional fc on gmail as well. It usually happens at start up. It has happened on lithmod and onix for me as well, so I don't think it's specific to this rom.

Went through 3 batteries today, needless to say I'm less than pleased and perplexed at my dilemma.

has anyone experienced battery drains like this at all?

Man I wish I could remember what freaking app I had that ate through my battery life on 0.9.5. I just removed it and have been fine since. I know that is no help, but since removal I go all day easily w/o a charge and that includes phone calls, some web browsing, solitaire, e-mail etc. Only time I charge during the day is when I am streaming music via Pandora or some such.

Looking at battery usage doesn't shed any light on your issue? Something is obviously eating through your batteries.

Wow! Sapphire 1.0 is by far the best Froyo ROM I have used (and I have tried almost all of them).

I don't know how you did it, but finally my work's wi-fi signal is 3/4 bars, all the other Froyo roms ranged from 1-2 bars and I would constantly struggle to stay connected while browsing the market or listening to Pandora.

I also finally get to use ADW on Froyo without horrible screen redraws.

ok..im running out of space. how can i set it to save to sd? I tried the terminal method but it didnt work for me. I must of done something wrong. please help. =/

Only apps that have it enable will work.
You can force others to but don't do it for apps with widgets.

1. Go to terminal emulator and enter
2. su (enter)
3. pm setInstallLocation 2 (enter)

Open Settings --> Applications --> Manage applications --> {SELECT APP } --> Move to SD card

The only flaw I see with the rom itself is the boot animation! Everything else (besides ESPN radio) is great, and would get my seal of approval.

a.) I guess you could make a backup of it using TB or whatever and just restore it.

b.) boot animations are easy to change

c.) glad you like everything else.

It should be in your downloads and say purchased.
Did you set up sync with you google account 1st?
Did you clear cache and data?
Do any you have any other paid apps?

oh! i *think* that i resolved my stuttering/pausing issue in sapphire 1.0. i disabled the cpu overlocking/governor in Gem settings. the cpu is being overclocked and governed in setcpu only.

I'm shocked many others haven't come over to try this ROM out. There are so many still waiting on Pete's .5, I was included in that group.

Loaded this on Saturday, and this is BY FAR the best, fastest, smoothest ROM out there. I put on NexTheme on top.
Major props!! This is now my ROM of choice.
